Any common, untrained and unarmed civilian would be timid in the face of death; even if he or she is not afraid himself/herself, they will fear for their family as to what will happen to them if they are killed. Life is a precious force of nature; it should never be wasted away. Those who are timid are because they value this life and don't want to lose such a gift of nature.

It is funny how one can claim that only Americans are the most timid. I am sure that almost everyone on PDF would be wetting their pants if they came across bullets being hurled and bombs being blown. We may be brave to ourselves but for the sake of our loved ones we wish to cling on to life.

The basic problem of American people is that they speak a lot about war, they make many ultra modern weapons for war, they send their military all around the world for war. but the only WAR EXPERIENCE was what their highly biased medias show them and what they see in SYLVESTER STALLONE WAR MOVIES. They have not experience a WAR LIKE SITUATION IN american soil since WW2. so they always loved war......

As an average Asian, even we haven't gone for a war personally, we have experienced the bad aftermath of the war in one way or the another. We boast on over military strength , we do debate, but the last thing we want our country to do is going for a war. but americans were real war loving people.

9/11 was a real shock for the americans. the world saw that how timid and brittle they were they cannot even withstand the loss of 3000 to 5000 people . Its been 10 years the only thing americans talk about is 9/11. Even the Iraqis have over come the situations.



people die every day in Asia, Africa , Eastern Europe, the Latin Americans.... nobody cares.

You have yourself indirectly proved their bravery by saying they have fought all wars on foregin hostile territory which is 100x than fighting on your land.
