Arabic translation of Bhagavat Geeta in Daeratul Ma’arif

Not only Ulagam,there are two more words of Sanskrit orgin in that..
Aathi(first) and bagawan(god)...
Thiru(holy) is not from Sanskrit, It is purely Dravidian,still using in Tamil-Malayalam languages..

Anti Tamil , Hindian logic - just because such words are in Sanskrit it must be Sanskrit origin ?

In Tamil,Bhagavān(Tamil: பகவன்) can find its roots inPagu(பகு) meaning - 'skim',Pagir(பகிர்) meaning - 'share', and hence one skims and clears ultimate, one who shares his own with creation isBhagavān. திருக்குறள்

He posted a Kannada language newspaper clipping which showed Kannadiga protesters protesting for something else as a protest by Tamils. That much is his knowledge about Tamil. I myself once asked him to translate a Tiruppavai verse. He ran away. If you want to test him, don't even go for Tiruppavai. Just post some 1st standard Tamil kids poem and ask him to translate. He will run away (just post it as a picture so that he doesn't copy-paste and google it)

Sanskrit is Tamil in reverse - live with it , as Tamil is the world's oldest language whereas - Sanskrit is derived from Avestan i.e Persian roots

You are right..I read bagawan as pagawan:D
Tamilians couldn't pronounce shri..they changed it into thiru..they couldn't pronounce even ha..so they pronounced it as ga..like aagayam (for aakasham )...agalya (for ahalya ) or ragasyam for rahasyam
Thiru is not from Sanskrit 'Sree'..We use both the words 'Thiru' and 'Sree' in Malayalam...
The correct Tamil word for Sky is 'Vaanam' or 'Vinnu'(same in Malayalam too)..
Sounds like 'ha' was used in classical Tamil and Srilankan Tamil dialects, for e- mahan(son),mahal(daughter),mahaanam(province) etc...

I, besides being a Tamil, have learned about Tamil history and grammar for a good 20 years of my life and here is a troll annoying the hell out of me by posting something totally stupid, that I do not even know where to start to show he is stupid. Guys, my humble request is that, unless you are a Tamil do not engage him in a discussion. It is totally annoying to see him post stupid things about my language (not to mention the Kannada newspaper clipping which he mistook for Tamil. It is not even that difficult to recognize Kannada/Telugu scripts from Tamil and he screwed up on that :hitwall:)

Malayalam is a very young language..it has a lot of influence from Sanskrit...I am quite sure even present day malayalis who were once speakers of Sen tamizh and tamilagam used to utter ha as ga and shri as thiru..over a period of time because of growing influence of Brahmins in their society they learnt to pronounce those words a bit properly.

But even now malayalis pronounce many Sanskrit words like tamilians

Ex : jyothi -jyodhi(Tamils say jodhi )..mantri -mandri..lokam -Logam..antham -andham...kataaksham-kadaaksham...tapassu -tabassu etc etc.

He is a Singaporean of Srilankan Muslim ancestry...His sudden love for Tamil is a joke...Srilankan Muslims were recruited/used as 'Spies' in the LTTE wing by the then Srilankan government because of their command over Tamil language(Srilankan Muslims use Tamil as their mother tongue,though they don't consider themselves as ethnic Tamil) and looks exactly like of a typical Srilankan Tamil..

It is Tamil, which is held to be donor of alphabet system to Sanskrit. Projecting it otherwise is anti-history and would betray the Talibanic mentality of the vested interests in suppressing the hoary history of Tamil.
