Rethink that choice lol
I will try my best to never visit Australia, there's just something about it that I hate, kind of like you with Canada. I'd much rather visit New Zealand (not the same in many different ways).
And here we see people suffering from the shitty weather in Vancouver, B.C.

But in reality, yes, it does rain a lot there but it's still one of the most liveable cities in the world, much better than any American metropolis.
I have to admit that spiders are not my thing either. Most are completely harmless though. Even the giant camel spider.
I went to school with a girl who was from New Zealand. She always praised the people and nature but personally she could not wait to leave New Zealand due to the isolation and small population. I love kiwis (the fruit, lol) so New Zealand is definitely the place to be or visit at some point. Actually a few people from the GCC study in New Zealand. A sizable community. Know a few of such people. I know that there is a sizable Iraqi community in New Zealand as well.
I have not visited Canada but I have visited a sizable number of States in the US, and as we have discussed this before If my memory serves me right, I have to say that I am a fan of the US. Speaking about weather and landscapes, then Canada cannot be compared to the US at all IMO. Totally unfair for Canada. In fact I tend to believe that Alaska has equal if not better winter landscapes than the best regions of Canada but that's just a guess.
I have heard about Vancouver but is it not located fairly closely to Seattle? The same Seattle that is known for its shitty rainy weather and depressions if I am not wrong?
The greatest contemporary Arab Americans is this guy. He is the MOST creative person in the whole world. That shows that Arab is smart.
Unfortunately, if this guy is a Muslims, it will transmit a far greater message that Islam is a religion of intellects -- or you wont have Steve Jobs and you wont have Apple.
You seem obsessed about Islam. Have you studied the Islamic Golden Age? The Islamic world is approximately 1400 years old. For half of that time, the Islamic world was the most developed region of the world. At its heart was the Arab world and so where it's scientists, intellectuals etc.
Islam for instance did not stop me from becoming a chemical engineer nor millions of other Muslims from being engaged in science or natural sciences as a whole.
For instance one of the leading theoretical physicists in the UK is an half Arab. Jim al-Khalili.

Anyway Steve Jobs was half Arab. His father was a Syrian Sunni Arab but from what I recall he was adopted as either a baby or young boy.
Nevertheless you can call him an Arab-American like almost 4 million other Americans.
