The ace musician has turned into a producer with the musical romance
film '99 Songs', and he also co-wrote the story of the film with director Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy.

Now, the latest buzz is that AR Rahman stepped down from the stage after the anchor spoke in Hindi at the 99 Songs launch. '99 Songs' Tamil launch was held in Chennai yesterday, and several stars from the Tamil cinema industry participated in the event. AR Rahman was addressing the press and media along with '99 Songs' hero Ehan Bhat. But when the anchor welcomed Ehan Bhat in Hindi, AR Rahman was surprised by the anchor's Hindi and stepped down from the launch. AR Rahman then questioned the anchor for not speaking Tamil at the stage and took his seat.

This act of a popular composer is getting attention, and fans from Kollywood are supporting his speech.

Earlier, being a leading composer in the Indian cinema industry, AR Rahman praised music directors Yuvan Shankar Raja, GV Prakash Kumar, and Anirudh Ravichander as superstars, and said that he learns from them.

the anchor should have understood that it's not right to speak some other language in Tamil Nadu in a promotion for a Tamil film. A R Rahman getting angry over this is understandable. opposition to Hindi is a part of the "Dravidian ideology" prominent in Tamil Nadu.

You are NO ONE to decied what the Anchor should or should not do.

Neither is Rahman.

A R Rahman is entitled to get angry. He is not Entitled to Insult other just because he is angry. Or kill someone if he gets More angry.

So far "Dravidian ideology" seems to be to Insult every stupid person you meet so that you feel better about your small dick or small language or smaller intellect.

This is assuming AR Rahman acted as a self appointed spokesperson for the "Dravidian ideology".

On the contrary it was the anchor who insulted AR Rahman. The movie is AR Rahman's production. He had asked the anchor to conduct it in Tamil as the launch was for a Tamil film in Chennai, Tamilnadu not Mumbai or Delhi
