Revealing that he was threatened by the Mafia to kill him.
Some here were making noises when I wrote against Wasim Akram in another thread.

Wasim Akram was and probably still is , as dirty as they come.

He did. Can't you hear him what he said!!
He went in front of the investigating panel and testified, that's why he was getting death threats. An investigation headed by a corrupt judge who took calls from Sharifs to fix the cases in their favour.

Secondly, as he said, the investigations were compromised, someone high up at the time wanted to save, Akram, Waqar, Mushtaq etc. Because they were backbone of Pakistan at the time. Once again probably fear that everything would fall apart.

I have already said, that during the world cup campaign I meet Wasim. I did asked him the question. He didn't say he did, but he said "Yar saab chalta hai". Take from it what you want.

But like I said, Ijaz Ahmed had told my close relations, they were throwing matches right left and centre at the time. He confessed many times that Wasim is the mastermind and he gets lots of money. He had close relations with Bookies.

I am sure even Imran Khan had a good idea, but it all happened after he retired. Akram would have not dared when IK was playing. He started to spread his wings when IK and Miandad retired. Then he was the King of the castle, nobody to stop him.

Hear what Amir Sohail had said, they are not saying it without a reason. They all know it.

Basically zero evidence has come that the match was fixed, indeed the opposite. The evidence is that Pakistani (and other) players used to fix meaningless matches but expressly not major finals.
