Isn't it similar to UNHCR? How much do you think reaches there?
Unicef is under UN. I don't think Human rights commission can do much about giving direct help.

Another one is red cross. You can also donate to Red cross.

We have many charity in UK who visit local mosques to collect donation for Syria . representative of this charity attended our mosque last friday

https://www.muslimaid.org
Are they good and reliable? I know about a UK charity (not Muslimaid) which was spending over 50% on admin expenses. That's why I don't trust most of them.. unless someone knows them..

Anyway, I will tell my friend about it..

Thanks man! This one is good.. my only worry, how much they spend on their admin expenses.. anyway, even if 50% reaches there.. it is better than nothing.. will tell my friend about this and muslimaid..

Just called him.. he is sending through both.. red cross and muslim aid..

We should donate with good faith. There is no other way for us to reach to people in Syria . We have to rely on some charity or organisation. God know how much they keep for themselves and how much they send it to deserving people

Your friend should contact them and should discuss all his concerns

Considering members of red cross are not really into money. I often hear them getting killed in Action. I would donate to red cross.

He doesn't have time to discuss. Asked me.. I called him just moments earlier and told him about both.. Muslimaid and redcross.. He also thinks that even if 50% reaches, it is better than nothing..

So all good.. thanks man!

Jazakallah. May we all get this spirit of donating as much as we could to help these people in crisis

Hi guys,

A friend of mine wants to know the best way to donate to children in need in Syria? He wants that a a big chunk should reach the needy, rather than getting distributed among NGO employees..

Any idea about UNHCR? Do they send the money or keep 50% as admin expenses?

@Verve @Shane @Zibago @Areesh @lastofthepatriots @Ocean @SherDil @Ahmet Pasha @HAKIKAT
I trust them 100%, each penny will be delivered to the needy INSHAALLAH...There are contact numbers at the bottom too, in case if anyone wants to get more info..
