There is nothing called bat repair. You can retain it using thread over damaged area and pore glue or fevicol over the thread

They may not have Fevicol in Pakistan. It's an Indian product AFAIK.

For professional wood-worker repairs, the best is to get thin syringes and inject good quality white glue in the cracks and then wipe off the residue while still wet. White glue when dry has more strength than the wood it joins. Ingredient of White glue is Poly Vinyl Acetate (PVA). Any wood shop or hardware shop in Pakistan will have PVA White glue, it is a very common item. Mix some wood dust with the PVA and squeeze in using a credit card or metal sheet if the cracks are larger than say 1 mm.

In a day's time the PVA glue will dry, then lightly sand the affected areas with say 250~320 grit fine sandpaper (or start with even finer grit like 400) - then re-polish the virgin sanded wood with either de-waxed shellac or tung-oil/danish oil (see links). You have to decide whether you want to save the stickered areas.

I don't know if you can get some of these polishing items in Pakistan, but just consult local furniture maker guys, they will have inexpensive local solutions, I'm sure.

Found my old Grey Nicolls. Its been sat in storage for so many years that its bone dry and has started cracking on the grains.
I have poured super glue on the cracks.
Any further suggestions?

Hockey is used for beating other people. Hockey ka yahi aik use ha I think aam danday sa ziada khatarnak hota ha. Bachon ko cricket ziada pasand ha and 1 ya 2 bat sa Puri team khel skti hockey sabka apna apna hona zarori ha

Hockey is not popular in Pakistan.

In 1984 i guess when Pakistan won Olympics hockey, it was at 3am in the morning. The match was in los Angeles and at the time PTV had to specially hire a satellite time slot for live transmission. At the time it was too expensive and PTV couldn't go beyond the time booked on satellite.
So if the match went into Extra Time, the transmission would simply cut off as either the satellite has passed out of range for Pakistan or another customer was in line.
Anyway, at the time almost everyone slept in the night and waking up at 3am was a big thing.
We all did that and watched the match.
Pakistan won the match and we went to school at 8 and we the few who woke up and watched the match became instant celebrities and the cool kids whom everyone wanted to talk to and listen about the match . The kalimullah and samiullah brothers as hockey stars were celebrities .

General Zia was very Keen about hockey and had personal meetings with players, supporting them and encouraging them.
As a result hockey became incredible popular in Pakistan, almost at the same level as cricket.

We spent out entire school life playing hockey quite regularly.

Then Pakistan hockey team slowly became garbage. The last good era was under Shahbaz.
Then it was downhill and Pakistani people lost interest.
