Anyone into cricket bat repairs?

Found my old Grey Nicolls. Its been sat in storage for so many years that its bone dry and has started cracking on the grains.
I have poured super glue on the cracks.
Any further suggestions?

Never liked this one, Always fail to hit boundaries with it.

Plus, Memories, Once I was hit hard on nose with this one accidentally...

Bat bekar hojaega isse.

Behtar hai plaster of paris daldo (lapi), Bhoosa mila kar, Aur phir barik wala sandpaper chalado jab sookh jaye

This is the thin blade style from the 80s and was never made for hitting boundaries.
Was mainly a test match bat.
More modern bats with thick blades are the one for hitting sixes

Yes CA bats with 5 inserts in the handle and thick blade are the ones for hitting hard.
Although i never had one..
I been using Malik bats and my favourite Malik bat is now broken beyond repair

A desi totka was to polish the blade “flat side “ with oil and leave the bat in a bowl of oil “ the wood absorbS oil” and makes its stronger however the color of the bat may change.

well, this isnt for international cricket.

There is nothing called bat repair. You can retain it using thread over damaged area and pore glue or fevicol over the thread
