I love going crate digging at local record stores.

Any other vinyl listeners around here? I know there has to be at least a few.

So, what's your favourite vinyl, how big is your collection, and why do you collect?

Can’t really Narrow it down. My last count was 122 records.. I collect because I like the warmth of analog music that one can’t get with digital music.

Although I do listen to digital music through Spotify and another streaming service that just became available in the states called Qobuz

Do you listen to any records?

No, I only ever listen to people actually singing, or digital recordings. Physical records are a little before my time lol.

Well their well before my time to my friend. Younger people are getting into vinyl.

Don’t get me wrong though, I do like digital music. I like vinyl because it sounds different, not because it’s better or worse.

Hi Kal-El, nice to meet you! What kind of music is on those vinyls?

Not so long ago when I read the word vinyl as a medium I actually had too Google it. It's just a fancy word for those records. Not sure if the term 'vinyl' was popular when records and gramophones were latest thing in audio distribution

By different do you mean when singers start sounding like Chip and Dale when the needle is near the middle of the record?

I’m not sad to see them gone. Add cassette tapes too.
