Any misadventure by Pakistan Army will be repelled with punitive response and no act of terror will go unpunished, Army chief General Bipin Rawat said Saturday.

Speaking at an event on '20 Years after Kargil Conflict', Rawat said Pakistan Army, time and again, resorts to misadventure, either through state-sponsored terrorism or intrusions in India.

The Indian armed forces stand resolute and ready to defend our territorial integrity. Let there be no doubt that misadventures will be repelled with a punitive response," he said.

The rise of non-state actors and the readiness to use terror and other irregular methods of fighting have become a new norm, he said.

Addition of cyber and space domain has changed the battlefield scenario, the Army chief noted.


Rawat also asserted that no act of terror will go unpunished. "Surgical strikes post-Uri and Balakot (terror attacks) have amply demonstrated our political and military resolve against terror. Any act of terror will not go unpunished," Rawat added.

Since he is back with usual threats & warnings & cautioning statement, the pattern suggests that Indian Army is again at something to create excuses one again like that of Pulwama. Bipin back then started the rants by issuing threats after threat to Pakistan and then Pulwama happened which resulted in Modi election campaign. The pattern is not different and as he is back at it again so must be planning yet another misadventure. However, this trick is busted and no more worth if he desired to do so.

India usually do some thing when Pakistani PM is visiting US or some important event is happening which is beneficial for Pakistan, so some terror act can be created by them to put Pakistan under pressure.

Agreed, i think India can resort to something in mid or late September, when the rainy season will end, we know that India has still not de escalated, their fighter jets are still at forward bases.

India wants to be a bully in the region & a bully don't want to be challenged, let alone hammering of 27th Feb, since then Indians are in a big dilemma, they say something, the world, neutral experts, footages of multiple space agencies deny it outright. No one is adhering to their claims & they had red faced Abhinandan captured by Pakistan along with Mi-17 fratricide. So their frustration is obvious.

We must stand our guard, we must remember in 1999 well after hostilities ended in Kargil, Indians targeted Atlantique and after targeting, their soldier came like thieves in a helicopter and took some parts of the destroyed aircrafts and Vajpayee displayed them in his office for the media.

Yes, Please asked them to don't fly so no more plane losses. One day (27th Feb) with four losses (including two gift from PAF) is big misadventure and try not to repeat it again
