I was thinking this as well why else would she become a naturalized Japanese citizen. Despite the objections i can understand her reason. So how many times have you been to GZ?

if i remember correctly, the immigration law in Japan is almost non existence, a girl can married a japanese man and apply citizenship but a guy cannot marry a japanese girl and apply for citizenship That way.

You can live in Japan your whole life and still not getting citizenship, for man, i think they have to select u somehow

Absolutely stunning ! Guangxi is like China's version of tropical , as the temperature, fauna is very similar to that of Southeast Asia. Its a stunning and wondrous prefecture ! The prefecture is not "small" by the way, its huge, almost the size of the nation that is Vietnam and Thailand.

Now that you mention it, i believe you are correct. I read a story about some American guy who has been living in Japan for a long time after marrying a Japanese woman. Now that they are quite old and since his wife is much older than he is he has already expressed his wish of remaining in Japan for the rest of his life after she one day will pass away as he doesn't have Japanese citizenship. With this story he hopes to convince the Japanese government to allow him to stay instead of forcing him to return back to USA, a place he had left so long ago he definitely won't get used to it anymore.

My uncle (father's younger brother) married a Chinese lady , they both live in Guangzhou with my cousins. That's the reason why I visited regularly during my younger days. Is your sister married to Japanese guy ?

same story for one of my friend, he left to work in Japan for sony in 1999 and he is still holding a working visa even after 16 years

Then he told me rhe status of residence does not exist in Japan

You will love Guangdong Prefecture ! I've been to many areas in the mainland and i've never met friendlier, honest, genuine, and courteous people than the people in Guangdongguo ! They are the epitome of why China and Chinese are successful , beloved by people abroad. Also, if you have time, the Prefecture to the west of Guangdongguo --- it is known as Guangnan Xi Lu, and abbreviated as Guangxi -- that prefecture is known for its utter beauty. It is home to a lot of Hakka people, and i recommend you visit it the city of Nanning, Fangchenggang.

If you love nature and the art of photography, you must , must take a tour of Guangxi as well as Guangdong. These pictures do no justice for the personal experience -- but it shows the beauty of Southern China.

Many, Many times. My own late grandfather visited China many a time to visit his grandkids/ my cousins ! ^_^,
