What's new

Anti-PTI trolls this is for you, SHAME on you for showing selected scenes from the Multan Jalsa.

I'm sorry, but shame on us? We're posting information from world known news channel, not photo shopping pictures and uploading like you people do. And even after given proof, you ignore it.

If you got something to say, take it to the said news outlet. Don't pin something on us. We watch the entire thing, read entire reports (Economists, BBC, theguardian, newyorktimes) and not rely on some absurd channel like ARY. Also personally I go to express news site as well.

Anyway, go complain to relevant news channel then come here and call us anti pti. PTI have good members, it's just hijacked by outer forces. Imran is good person, but he fell to outside forces. Now if we start photoshopping or make a video that shows only the part we're showing, go ahead, blame us.

First video, did Imran bother asking if he's dead or alive?

"Pakro aur Ambulance" and get back to mighty speech. Leader is meant to look after its people. Anyway, I'm wasting my time now.

Lol what i posted is fake? people posted half of what actually happened and when i posted the other half of it, you see that oh its ARY so the video content is fake and IK still didn't want that person to be well or didn't care for that person etc etc..

Look around you, some people are posting selected pictures and videos focusing of accusing PTI solely for this whole thing...do you think that is right? Iam just trying to show and tell that it was also PTI's management fault while also the local administration of Multan being at fault. Check the investigation videos by some unbiased news outlets such as Express News which i posted here.

Khawaja 07 is another serious troll of PTI. Watch this video and tell us how it contradict with your fav Ary video. This video is about mahmhood qureshi and how he ignored the request of ambulance and water from Dj butt. Sheikh rasheed did same during his speech. And all these leaders did not give break to their speeches and thats what geo said in report. I agree they ignored wording of imran where he said bring this guy on stage and then he did carry on his rants. You can see in videos that some guys were taken in stage and some were ignored but speeches never got break

Mr. Anti-pti Troll what SMQ did was wrong, he's definitely no saint but that doesn't negate the fact that this whole thing was a fault of Local Multan administration while also PTI's management not handling the situation how it should've been managed. Simple.

. .
organising huge jalsas dosnt translate into votes....its an illusion of power not just for IK but all our other so called leaders.

.
we should leave that discussion now. It was a historic jalsa. Craword more then anticipated came there, Stamped happened. No one is to be blamed. Suadia arabia with all his resources and man power couldnt stop such incidents. Beaurocracy that people are defending now has been part of many negligence before as well. But Better management should have been done. Jalsa was too big and mob cant be controlled . This video shows how much people were outside even when stadium was full..

.
IK just said " The Earth is triangular"

now lets blindly accept it

organising huge jalsas dosnt translate into votes....its an illusion of power not just for IK but all our other so called leaders.
Bhutto held big jalsa and got alot of votes. Imran khan did big jalsa and got second highest goal. Not bad for a new party.

what imran khan do is very different then traditional parties . They dont buy people, arrange transport or people dnt come for keemay walay naaan. He announce the jalsa and in in 3-5 days later he gather a big crowd.

Now PPP is doing jalsa as well. They announced it a month ago. Bringing people from all over pakistan. People in PTI jalsa come with familes, women participation is very high, children also love it ...

.
i guess we will know on 16th when people of Multan speak by their votes and not through jalsa and jaloos. PML is fully supporting Dhagi i mean Bhaggi even though he is an independent candidate while PTI has their own.

Multan Jalsa was huge but 7 people lost their lives which is tragic. There is no point in doing politics over dead bodies. Even if we are too agree it was 100% fault of the DCO and government was behind it, i still think that makes PTI all the more responsible since they should now be fully aware and prepared to deal with such eventuality as they know that that N league has lost it and will do anything and everything in their power to put PTI in a bad spot. If PTI still does not understand this simple fact that they are alone responsible for anything and everything that happens in their jalsas than people will note take them seriously with running the country.

Since the start of Dharnas unfortunately PTI organizers has shown nothing but gross mismanagement which is sad and pathetic. They should have learned by now whats at stake.

Report blames PTI for stampede - Newspaper - DAWN.COM

ISLAMABAD: The initial report on Friday’s tragedy at the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) rally in Multan, submitted by the local administration to the prime minister, speaks of callousness on the part of three PTI leaders who, officials insist, did not cooperate when asked to make announcements that could have mitigated the stampede.

The three-page report, a copy of which is available with Dawn, claims that the stampede at the public meeting began during Imran Khan’s speech.

“The incident took place due to unmannered rush of the people and stampede of participants who rushed out of the (stadium’s) eastern gate before (the) end of Imran Khan’s speech,” says the report.

The ‘confidential’ document, titled “Incident Report”, claims that following the initial melee, an assistant sub-inspector was sent to the PTI stage to make an announcement asking people not to move towards the eastern gate. “The ASI met Dr Akhtar Malik, Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Malik Aamir Dogar at the stage…however, no announcement was made as Imran Khan was making a speech at that time. (The ASI) was told that the speaker cannot be interrupted,” the report states.

The report, signed by City Police Officer Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry and District Coordination Officer Zahid Saleem Gondal, says that two people were killed on the spot whereas five others died of their wounds later.

Describing the sequence of events leading up to the stampede, the report states: “Imran Khan…addressed the audience at about 7:30pm. During his speech, after approximately 10 to 15 minutes, the people/audience started to go out from the stadium towards different gates.”

“Due to (the) unmannered rush of people and (the ensuing) stampede, some participants slipped and fell down on the ground, (and the) crowd ran over them. Consequently, two persons expired at the spot, whereas, 38 persons were injured,” reads the report.

The Jalalpur Pirwala sub-divisional police officer (SDPO), who was on duty at this gate, “immediately started (a) rescue operation … and started shifting the injured along with Rescue 1122.”

The report says that the SDPO also made announcements via megaphone, telling people to stay away from the gate where the stampede took place.

“The rescue operation team of Rescue 1122 (and the) fire brigade service made water spray at the gate in order to stop people from (exiting) the said gate and to save their lives”, the report claims.

Through the report, the city police chief and the DCO have held the PTI responsible for the stampede and the resulting deaths of seven people, following an otherwise impressive show of strength by the party at Multan’s Qasim Bagh Stadium.

The NoC for the public meeting was issued after on the submission of an undertaking by Ijaz Hussain Janjua, the PTI district president.

The report states: “During the meeting, an undertaking was obtained from the applicant mentioning all the terms and conditions consisting of 26points for holding a peaceful public meeting after deliberation with all the stakeholders. Among the conspicuous points, it was agreed by the applicant that the organiser i.e. PTI, will be responsible for arranging search and security, arrangements for lights on the backside of the stage as well as in and outside of the (stage). It was also one of the conditions that all the agreed terms will be fulfilled until the Jalsa is finished and workers/participants are dispersed peacefully and reach their respective places.”

According to the report, there were only five exit gates, which were not sufficient for such a large gathering of people and states that about 2,200 police personnel were deployed at the stadium.

Separately on Saturday, PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi – in a press conference in Multan - rejected the report and termed it a “pack of lies.”

Meanwhile, on D-Chowk, PTI chief Imran Khan vowed justice for the families of the victims.

“I am very upset about the deaths of PTI supporters in Multan and I will take all necessary steps to get justice for the families of the victims,” Mr Khan promised his audience.

He also lashed out against Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and also questioned the role of the police deployed at the scene.

“Mr Shahbaz, I don’t trust on you and the inquiry regarding the Multan incident under your supervision as chief minister of Punjab. But I will wait for the inquiry nevertheless,” Mr Khan said.

He also announced financial support on behalf of PTI for the victims’ families.

7 deaths didn't make much of the news. no one seems to worry.

That's Pakistan Media for you, lot of growing up to do. And it's not just the media, unfortunately, there is a lack of value for human life in Pakistani society as a whole.

Both the administration and the PTI are responsible. PTIs gatherings/jalsas are never well organized as we see the ones organized by MQM for instance. Again, controlling such a massive crowd is always an issue but it cant be an excuse.

Both were equally responsible, the police/"intazamiya" and PTI. PTI chose a horrible location and failed to organize it properly. All was needed was a bit of (possibly intentional) incompetence on the other side to turn this into a dangerous mess.

I agree, just one thing, MQM jalsas are more like mourning sessions full of serious and solemn people, they can't even be compared with PTI gatherings which are full of exited, unruly youth.
