Anti-Japan protesters mistook traditional Chinese clothes for Kimono

Damn idiots! The Taliban is responsible for training the Uighur terrorists in Xingjiang who caused numerous civilian deaths via bombings. This "enemy of my enemy" logic is stupid to say the least.

Exactly right, anyone who supports terrorism is an idiot. They have even bombed Chinese civilians and police officers in Xinjiang province.

As for the stupid Fenqing in the original article, Ta men zhen shi wang ba.

They claim to be Chinese nationalists... yet they cannot even tell the difference between Han Fu and a Kimono?

Hmm I was reading about the Hui (on wikipedia though), they don't keep arabic names too.

The culture of the Hui people, is almost exactly the same as the culture of the Han people... the only difference is that they practice Islam and don't eat pork. They speak Mandarin, not Arabic.

China needs patriots, but it does not need nationalists.

Mistook chinese clothing for kimono. Seriously wth?
And what's wrong with kimono? They originated from china too, and they are beautiful.

China needs open minded people too.

So Muslims in China read/write Arabic ? Interesting...

There is a sizable minority around Indonesia and China called Chinese Arabs. There are people who migrated from Arab land and became inbred with Chinese. I have a Taiwanese friend who happen to be Arab origin and is well versed in Arabic with proper dialects.

Well look at one of the plaques. As Nomenclature pointed out they even managed to misspell the "sui" in sui yuan bi zhu. This is a mistake that I, a man with 4th grade education in Chinese, could pick out. How do you expect them to know about their own history if they can't even get the language right?

Proof that one man one vote will destroy China as it stands today. Please continue keep the recent Noble Peace Prize winner in check.
No "Glasnost before Perestroika" as China said to the Soviet Union.

People in China already proved your point with their choice of Super Girls a few years ago if you know what I am getting at.

You refer to the Li Yuchun?

In pop, standing out is important. Intuitively the choir/soprano voice type should be the winner but it doesn't really stand out.

In S Korea, they got Lee Hyori. Initially, she adopted the Namie Amuro look that is so contrary to their standards of beauty (fair skinned, etc) but I believe its her distinct voice that got her attention, a low tone but still somewhat feminine. In Japan, Koda Kumi also has a low tone voice, and with the Wonder Girls, the low tone voice Min stands out. Why low tone timbre voice girls standout? Some say its more intimate, like a girl whispering, some say it sounds like women in ecstasy. So hence, we have Li Yuchun kicking *** so speak. A distinctive voice will stand out, not necessarily just the low tone ones, like YUI and YUI looks to ready to replace Ayumi Hamasaki.

Jane Z/Zhang Liangying got the more standard voice but is not distinctive unless the song has a higher range. Ever heard Mariah Carey sing a dance song. Didn't even realise it was her singing but there is no range in the song. And most pop songs don't have huge range. So the distinctive voice timbre girl, be low or otherwise, has the advantage. And then needless to say, she got distinctive bisexual look as well.

A possible difference in China and Japan's taste that is related to the economy. In Japan, boy look like girl good.
Japanese lovely model turns out to be man - People's Daily Online

Why cos, in a weak economy, girl/feminine attributes as hero somehow seems more popular.

In China, girl look like boy good... and maybe that is the case too with S Korea.

"Super Girl Chris Li Yuchun wore a tight black shirt with sexy makeup, and sung her self-composition "Amour," the lead song of her self-written album "Li Yuchun." She won "Asia's Best Artist." On the same day, on Naver, the Korean search engine with 80% of the market, Li Yuchun immediately went to the top and became the most searched for artist in Korea"

Those who wonder why he said Super Girls (plural), well
