I remember Kashmir was in relative peace some years ago but suddenly things flared up big time again in last couple of years.

Do a little background checking and figure out the millions being poured into Kashmir dissident hands to keep the agitation alive. If this stops, where do you think the surplus funding will go? Back to the donors? Or to other Mulim irredentists?

This war is profitable business for all the parties involved now. Even the kashmiri muslims. Only losers were kashmiri hindus in early 90s right now its just part of Indian republic. kashmir will keep pakistanis in perpetual security state benefitting India. Even bangladesh will becoming bigger economy than pakistan is few years despite pakistan having much greater resources. China also its beneficial, pakistani army its benefecial, Indian state & military its beneficial, kashmiri separatist/pro India sect and kashmiri population which gets massive subsidies it’s beneficial

Sometimes i have feeling that why this insurgency has no results since 1947... i know they have less resources ... but also they lack in planning and intellegeance. Also it seems they are not united as before..Perfect use of limited sources and unity may hit indian scums hard.

This being the real world, it is hitting the real scum hard.

Two rebellion hotspots in this world that always capture the world's attention due to their consistency and massive scale , one is in Palestine, one is in Kashmir.

No mate, it was never in peace since 1947. India has continued policies of genocide, rape and oppression on the armless Kashmiris and now they have started a freedom struggle and they are fighting for freedom from Indian occupation as Mao Ze Thunk did for China.

Sure, then ask any country in the world to officially recognize either Tibet or Xinjiang as disputed territories.

We recognised Tibet as subject to Chinese suzerainty in 1950. East Turkestan was never in dispute, as far as independent India was concerned; that was dealt with by the British India government in the 30s.

Kashmir was legally acceded in to India by raja Hari Singh. The only one that is illegally occupying kashmir is pak.

Tibet and Xinjiang are our land but Kashmir is not yours, it's disputed and you have a speical law giving troops a free hand to kill the local people but unfortunately even after 60 years, you still can't win in Kashmir.

You can hardly expect us to acknowledge somebody else disputing what is legally ours. That dispute may impress you, probably impresses you, but that's about all.

We are not setting out to 'win' in Kashmir. There is no war; there is only suppression of armed terrorists.
