Anti-Hefazat activists puts up 12-point demand

great news. maijvandari sufi grave worshippers are playing for awami league. guys get ready to destroy grave and pir worshipping when the revolution is complete.

Destroying pir worshiping is Imani duty but what grave sin has the pir performed in their life that you want people to destroy their grave ?

Shabagh and atheists are not same. There came different types of people. Their agenda is to free
this country of anti BD ppl. If atheists are Bangladeshi they also gone there. But nobody of them
were in leading position of the movement. From shahbagh nothing said against Islam.
Now ppl have different views. They were hiding in a postion among millions of sites. But shibir
musterminds colored on the issue that shahbagis are actually Atheist.
There were always atheists among every society. So BD is not different. If you believed in Darwin's origin of species from that day you become atheist. If you dig out more and more you will find more problems
there. So why bring this to illiterate ppl who will never understand those.
If you believe in Islam then be it why bother other what they are thinking. Its you who has to give
reply for all your deeds.

I read the translation of almost 28 chapters of the Quran. Quranic creationism doesn't not seem to be inconsistent with the theory of evolution. Some statements in Quran are not supposed to be taken literally, as the Quran is intended for all time and all people and thus one single verse of the Quran may take on several meanings (though not necessarily contradictory) depending on the intellect and knowledge of the person who reads it.

Scientific theory changes over time, besides missing link never been found. I read Tafhim ul-Qur’an translation & interpretation of Quran by Abul A’la Maududi few times.

The ayat of the Qur'an are commonly separated into two groups:

1. Those that are Muhkam (محكم): with very clear and straightforward meanings.
2. Those that are Mutashabeh (متشابه): with multiple interpretations.[5]

This distinction is stated within the Qur'an itself:

"He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book: In it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning) [Muhkam]; they are the foundation of the Book: others are allegorical [Mutashabeh]. But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical, seeking discord, and searching for its hidden meanings, but no one knows its hidden meanings except Allah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: 'We believe in the Book; the whole of it is from our Lord:' and none will grasp the Message except men of understanding." (Ali-Imran 3:7, Yusuf Ali translation of the Qur'an)[6]

The purpose of Quran is to guide mankind to right path. We should seek guidance from Quran instead of try to make it compatible with modern scientific theory.

Moander brings up a good point. Pir worshiping and worshiping of their grave is shirk and polytheism. Spending money to say some dua by resident alem at these locations may not be against Islamic law, but must be strictly regulated. Even this practice is probably not so good, as far as I know, as in Islam a dead person has no power to do anything for his deceased soul, let alone doing any favor to others (they are not a short cut to Allah [SWT]). Instead, the visitors can pray to Allah (SWT) for their deceased soul to reach Jannah, out of respect and love.

And destroying the genuine majars, shrines and mausoleums, a practice that was probably started by Salafi's or their predecessors in recent decades or centuries, I believe is totally unnecessary. Destroying these historical structures are not needed to make sure that proper Islamic conduct takes place in these locations. These are historical sites. They provide a valuable link to our past history and should be preserved by the govt. paid for by the tax payers.

For these and many similar issues, we need a world wide consensus among Muslims, which can be discussed in a GFC:

As long as Maulana Bhashani lived these fraudulent pirs / mazar worshipers lay low. They shot up the moment the Maulana died. The first one was Atrashi and then others including this Maizbhandari.

I think @kobiraaz meant "grave worshiping and pir worshiping". Ellipsis should be used carefully, that is, avoid it altogether where misunderstanding may arise.

Good point. Yes actually quran has given all the message clearly and undoubtedly. There is no question about it.
It is compitable with modern science. It clears the thing, how the world is created. From Quran its created from Zero. And from science its Bang theory. So its same. And there are many many examples.
Most of the cases no problem. But you seem to be not introduced with Darwn's origin of species theory.Plz research more about it and what Muslims are telling of this.
According to the theory of this law of nature. All life created through evaluation. Its all started from a Protein cell. And life started on earth. Many species arose and devoloped their kinds.
After so many years from african apes ancient men came. Then men just improved itself to real men like us. Modern science accepts the theory. And all researches are based on it.
But what we know from Islam is, race of men starts from Adam Hawa. Whom used to live in heaven. So in this case Islam and science collide.
Yes we can avoid problems leaving aside science and religious life.

Muslims don't worship graves. Muslims worship only Allah. They go there as a sunnat of our Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. I think you need to gain some Islamic knowledge. Grave building was started by the people of 1st Century ( Hijri Calender ) only not by 13, 14th Century people, as you wrongly think. It is proven from Sahih Bukhari. Like Alcohol was allowed in initial days of Islam, Visiting graves was also prohibited only during the initial days of Islam. Later , it was permitted by our Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
Also, about your call to your fellow Wahabis to get ready for destroying graves. In Islam, it has been taught to respect the graves also. You are talking about destroying them ?

Muslim should not worship graves and any living or dead human beings. Period. By Muslim lifestyle there should be no graves at all.let alone mazar.period. any Muslim who thinks he can ask a dead or living PIR to give him shafayat,is doing shirk.period. goinng to a certain grave, giving flowers, crying beside the grave, shirk.be that your father or nations father.period. any body going against the book and calling it human Rights, sentiment, love,is doing shirk.period.
