ANP likes President Zardari: Mian Iftikhar
Updated at: 2217 PST, Friday, July 01, 2011

PESHAWAR: Minister for Information Mian Iftikhar Hussain Friday said whether anyone likes President Zardari or not ANP does like him the best, Geo News reported.

Addressing a program to celebrate ‘provincial autonomy’, the Minister said ‘the man who fulfilled our deepest desires, we cannot help but feel love for him’.

He said provincial autonomy will strengthen democracy in the country and that ANP would take all the political parties along.

. .
ANP and PPP have so much in common: they are use less and corrupt parties.

.
ALL ALLIES OF PPP are corrupt and incompetent! how can any sane person or party ally with MR.10% and his thugs!

Guys relax. Have you any idea what has happened in the last week of Pak politics? I'm surprised on one posted even a single thread about such a milestone.

Basically after the approval of 18 amendment last year in march one of the main demand of complete provincial autonomy has been fulfilled. And right on the promised date of 30th June.

What is provincial autonomy? Basically 17 major ministries, including education, health etc has been given to the provinces instead of keeping them assigned to federal. Meaning each province make decisions on these ministries without getting fed govt involved. This was planned in in '72 and implemented now after 40 years. This is a milestone. For Blochistaan and Khaber Pakhtoon Khawa it means the world after decades of neglection they faced from Islamabaad.

Mian Iftikhar Hussain has since been appearing on tv channels to express his extreme pleasure and rightfully so. PPP has screwed up a lot and has a notorious party leader as the president but we can still appreciate their positive work.

well said. i too think there is a hype created against PPP as it do not fully submit to military and the biggest obstacle for the so-called jihadis. who is not corrupt here but the scapegoat is zardari who spent around 11 years in jail while others are free. For Now he is out and he is blamed to have made a deal with military.

so something is wrong. it is not the fault of one person that our country is on delcine past 30 years. it all started with the rise of zia JI affiliated and most of the terrorists caught are former memeber of JI. interestingly the courts release all of the terrorists and none is punished.

the FC personal who killed a person in karachi are facing punishment but those who are attacking military are not punished. Even the core commanders comminique expressed concern on the release of the terrorists by the courts.

constitutionally PPP has performed well despite all pressures. Even if people say PPP, ANP, JUI are corrupt, I do not trust becasue there are bigger corrupt elements than these scapegoats. I do not think there are other genuine political groups. PML-N, PML-Q, MQM, PTI, JI etc. are part of the hidden establishment.

Both ANP & PPP have alot in common, corruption is example, ANP minister's corruption destroyed Railways, PPP corruption destroyed Pakistan. The first statement zardari gave after coming in power was "Pakistan should not compare itself with India as India is very big country with big economy", the reason Pakistan's economy is collapsing. A successful nation always look forward & to pursue it's target it sets new target as soon as it's required target is acheived.

they like those who shear black corruption money with them .no wonder they make donkey there father now hahahaah

As much as one hates Zardari you have to give his Govt credit for this one. He did bring some unity among provinces and atleast tried political solutions to solve their problems. 18th ammendment, 19 th Ammendment, NFC Award, change of status of Gilgit Biltistan, Aghaaz-e-Haqooq-e-Baluchistan were notable achievements. One can debate on their effectiveness but atleast he tried. However no doubt both parties are inefficient and corrupt but seeing form ANP angle, i think it is understandable that why they favour Zardari.

Anybody who likes zardari is an enemy of pakistan. Zardari is a theiving traitor.

. .
Look at the results of the 2008 elections and ponder. Zardari could have formed govts. in all 5 federating units with its own Chief Ministers but he chose not too. I doubt ANY other political party would have missed that opportunity.
I blame this govt. for its failures but I still think, considering what Zardari inherited, he does not deserve the kind of singling out as being done.
Some of you may miss Zardari once the Amir ul Momimoon Nawaz Sharif comes to power--and he seems like the next PM of Pakistan.
