I don't know why IK did not raise this issue in the commision. Dr Shaih Masood was willing to appear as witness and present whatever proof he had in connection to the 35 punctures.

Because there was simply no evidence...! Trust me sir, Imran Khan will be held accountable to all those allegations about Gen Kayani, Justice (R) Ramday, CJP Ifthikhar Chaudhary, Justice Fhakar Uddin and Najm Sethi...Exploding again and again the bomb of allegations inside the minds of people...creating havoc for months in Capital at the time when Pakistan military was having toughest challenge on Western border...and when asked for bringing the proof.....Zero...Zilch..Shoonay..!
That's not a joke..! He knew that defamatory laws have not that importance in our country, and he took full advantage of it, despite the fact that he was lecturing, constantly comparing English Legal system with ours while standing on container for months..!

Imran never said it was a political statement. Please listen the interview once again, and without getting over-excited. It was Hamid Mir (Jaffer) who said "so you admit it was a political statement?", and in response IK went on saying "We heared it from...". No where in that interview did Imran said it was a political statement. Hamid Mir (Jaffer) tried to put his words in IK's mouth. Even Sethi the 'puncture wala' has not denied the existence of alleged tape recording.
