Another Partition? Except for Kashmir valley, I see no major separatist movement in India. In early days after independence there was Tamil Nadu and in 80's Punjab. Since liberalization (after 1990s) people started getting more and more unified in their thoughts. People started becoming mobile. I see no major difference in thought on national issue let say from a Tamilian to a Punjabi or from a Muslim to a Hindu

If Mumbai riots would have happened a decade back, this would spread like wild fire. Not any more.

This forum is an example of how similar Indians think.

>>>>>Lest I may be accused of being communal, I should clarify that until I came to Delhi to pursue my higher studies I had never felt that as a Hindu I was different from a Muslim. In fact, once we had a land- lady in my home state Odisha who was a Muslim and she often went to my orthodox village and lived with my family for days together. She was a proud Muslim and my parents were proud Hindus, but that did not matter in their staying together in the same house for days.<<<<<

I read at another place where an Indian Hindu was describing why Muslims should not be kept as house maids or servants in Hindu houses. He said, these are dirty people and even, my grandfather used to say the a Maleech should not be kept in the house because they remain dirty and Hindus being clean people and bathe daily, these Maleech do not.

What is a Maleech and why was he referring to Muslims being Maleech.

And is this pronounced feeling in India these days or is restricted to certain areas only.
mostly muslims in india and pak were originally from lower castes of hindus. thats why.

PARAS;3347480]Another partition has already happened ( remember 1971 ).:rofl::rofl:

You mean when majority Politicians in Today's pakistan didn't wanna listen to People of today's Bangladesh and India exploited that situation even though majority of People in both countries separated By India in between were Muslims.

Who could have seen that coming oh wait founder of pakistan did and was against the idea of having east pakistan and west pakistan.

Regarding future partition of India , its not gonna happen as Muslims are nowhere in majority in India except for kashmir and a few districts. In 1947 it was a different scenario as vast swathes of land had overwhelming mohammadan majority.:wave:

So if the separation of country is only based on your analysis then i guess in India case Kashmir will be free as clearly admitted by you its a majority Muslim state.

it was a different scenario as vast swathes of land had overwhelming mohammadan majority

If you speak for majority those words of yours sure sounds like the words of Hindu extremist then a secular Indian.
