They are best bet against ISIS threat in Afghanistan. Afghan Army has not been able to prove itself to that level so far so I think Taliban ISIS rivalry should be Capitalize before bringing them to Justice once in for all.

Afghan army not been able to prove itself? So with over 100 thousand foreign forces gone, limited air support and still its able to hold all major population centers and all provincal capitals and over 300 district center I just wonder which part of the "Prove it self" it still needs to do ?

That idea of 'enemy's enemy is a friend' has so many ways it can backfire.

You deal with both of them, at the same time. That's how you handle it.

Simple Idea. Support Taliban against ISIS they both keep Fighting till they both become weaken and then Support Afghan Army and clean up the leftovers.

But Taliban Activities have increased Quite a bit and are even Targeting North where they dont even have much Support in the past. That need to be Consider as well and also I never heard Afghan Army has even combated ISIS so far and are confined to targeting Taliban in Afghanistan. So yes Afghan Army has a huge Limitation considering the Mandate they are given for which I wont blame them rather I blame Afghan Politics as they are not providing their importance to their Military right now.

That seems nice on pen and paper. The problem will be as you keep providing support, as in logistics to Taliban, their power will keep on increasing. They have their own agenda and you have no control over them.
If they manage to score a victory against ISIS, then their power at that time is not at lowest, but highest, because they are emboldened by the victory.
So, the thumb rule, you don't start a process you know you can't control.

The idea is to let them fight and kill each. Supporting one over the other will be dumb move, especially when support mean weapons/money. In that case ANA should fight both at the same time.

When the state let's its citizens kill each other, then it is called a failed state. That idea will not be welcome in 8th century, let alone 21st century.
