cant have a thread based on a tweet man....need a news source to back it up
As per my understanding, it is has to do with the credibility. One cannot use some random tweet but He is a well known person with links & sources and this is a verified account with a massive following. Furthermore, it is a developing story, soon there will be other sources as well.

there are 1000s of verified accounts, do we buy all of their tweets at the face value? I had respect for ZH, but do not buy everything he has to sell man, not atleast based on a tweet....

tomorrow indians will barge in and open threads just because some random dude with a blue tick tweeted something......
take example of blast at MH in rawalpindi last week....what if someone on the Indian side tweets that some xyz senior tango was killed in a blast at MH....that will upset us no?

.
it shows that india has still increased military buildup near LOc and we should remain vigilant as increase in fighter jets operations of Iaf in our border region indicate another misadventure by india is near

As I said, blue tick is just one of the criteria...a person's reputation is also important, DG ISPR, Zaid Hamid, AM Shahid Lateef, etc are credible sources. Similarly, if Indians use tweets of their famous people from verified accounts, that should be okay.

But you just relied on a tweet by some douche and said he's credible, in that case the image should be credible as well.

Looks like as long as the news suits your narrative, it doesn't matter if it's credible or not
He is a very credible & respectable source of info so you must behave. Don't be a typical troll.

.
This appears to be false so the numbers still remain at approximately 27 aircraft crashed since 2016

I would've if he actually posted credible news. A person doesn't become credible if he has a blue tick or posts stuff that suits your perception.

Well we can have one rule for us and another for them.
