I dont know but time will tell. The processor is US made. We will see whether China can make one on their own.
US made processor?
What are you talking about?
In fact all these maneuvering by USA created new opportunities for China semiconductor industries.
It will be more than just foundries but lithography equipment and related industries as well.

Huawei has deep pockets to survive these losses from North America and EU. Recently 90% of 5G orders in China went to Huawei and I believe 10% to Erricson. Nokia was completely shutout from initial 5G Chinese orders. Even to get business in China for EU manufacturer is breaking even at the best. Best selling point of Huawei is there selling point they are cheap as compare to there competors and almost as good but not better. So that's why in Asia, Africa, ME, South America and even some Eastern European countries Huawei is an easy pick due to low cost to deploy there Core and RAN eqp.
Tide has changed in North America and EU in favor of Erricson and Nokia.
10 years back Huawei copy all the technology from Erricson, Lucent, Alcatel and even Cisco. There product manuals were carbon copies of the above companies. But in 10 years they get good by coping and even start beating the competition. Low cost to produce and a dedicated work force.
Since Security is a big concern now Huawei is seeing head winds which might last for few years but not for ever.
What tide of changes?
It has always been about USA firm grip on its allies - 5 eyes Anglo-Saxon intelligence alliance and NATO using threats and arm twisting tactic.
But USA is losing its grip and soon it's influence as well.
It won't work for the new era which is in fact an Asian Century.
IMO China should in fact keep it's 5G technology to itself.
Believe it or not, within 5 years it will be way ahead of the West. We can see its application way ahead of any nation in China today.
Why bother with them?
The strategy forward should be self sufficiency in all areas e.g. food supplies, water and clean air. If they want to trade then trade if not, don't be bothered.
No the mission is to keep all foreigners away until COVID is eliminated to safeguard it's population.
So USA wants to ban flights to China. GOOD.
I am pondering over this.
Can USA decouple itself from China? I would love to know the answer.
