Most probably. Hacks are left in source code and firmware and/or found. Pegasus is leading in exploiting Hacks in smartphones. Microphones and even cameras can be hacked. Once u hack smart phones then everything is open including GPS location, any fitness apps, gadgets installed in the phone.

With certain NSO exploits such as Pegasus, there isn't even any user intervention required. They just work by exploiting Apple's update library and iMessage services. There isn't much people can do about such kind of 0-day exploits.

This is actualy what I am waiting for.

Both the leaks are from different timelines. So, there is a high chance there are other audio tapes in between those dates and otherwise too.

Moreover, the original poster has said that there is 8 GB of data. Audio files of 8 GB are HUGE.

More interesting would be who is in the audio tapes. Is there any military person in the tapes too or not. The original anon account says there are conversations with the COAS too.

If those conversations get out, and there is some incriminating audio...then God help us all.

That is why I believe every agency in Pakistan right now would be working overtime to get a hold of that anon account...or pay him the money to shut him up.

If I were PTI, I would pay the anon account the money and get hold of the tapes and see what is in them. If there is political conversation between the estab and PDM that points to collusion, then it's the smoking gun.

Don't think so, this seems to be a genuine hack by foreign entities...

Leaks are quite easy to trace, unless they are truly incompetent across the board no one from within would have done it, and lumber 1 has other priorities plus why would they sabotage their own children in PDM.

Leak must be from within ISI. They have tabs on every Pakistani politician and someone from within ISI leaked it. I doubt lumbar 1 is behind it as there is allegedly audio of him and ISI chief as well.

Western powers are in favour of this corrupt government, why will they leak the audio?

Pegasus is govt level high end software for wealthy clients. Level of cyber and network security is so low in Pakistan that any commercially available software will do the job. Imagine the level of softwares develop by govts for their classified use. No electronic device, software or hardware is save from them.

Looks fairly harmless. A special favor was asked, and the PM refused it. Not sure what the brouhaha is. Anybody can request a special favor and that is perfectly fine as long as it gets dismissed.

Recent documents reveal Modi Government used Pegasus against the opposition as [Pegasus was purchased from Israel as a part of a defense package. So I was wondering what kind of information they'd have on our Politicians and Establishment considering the extremely poor level of cyber security measures in place.
