I work for the largest Pure Play BPO company in India.. Last year when the world's economy shrunk, we grew by 8%. Guideance to Wallstreet for 2010 16%. Target 20%. Q1.. extremely promising.. Cut the BS dude..

PS: 86% business growth in 2009 and planned in 2010 is from the US

you are right
pakistan economy has got strong fundamentals like begging aid from foreign country, has no enough foreign exchange to conduct its day to day business, foreign investors are afraid of investing in a unstable country, high social disorder, every day blasts are the facts which they are boasting of... so, imagine where in india in this scenario stand infront of pakistan... great going pakistan.. i am afraid if there will be a nation called pakistan in 2020..

I can see programs almost everyday on FoxNews and CNN about financial insecurity amongst American's, I saw most people worried about trade deficit between USA and China and not so much about Indians though. It is bound to happen although there is nothing much they can do about it but bringing change in themselves.

There is a saying you can learn about a country's economy by riding in a local cab , and the local cab drivers tell you exactly what the street people say ... and I for one can certify that ... things are not looking good for outsourcing

MUMBAI, India — India's top three outsourcing companies are ramping up hiring and increasing pay as global corporations, mainly from the U.S., send more work offshore to cut costs as they emerge from the downturn.

Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, and Wipro expanded their global workforces by an average of 5.1 percent last quarter, together adding 16,701 employees, company documents show – an early sign that the Great Recession may ultimately benefit India as cost-conscious companies outsource more work, just as they did after the dot-com bust.

If you say like this then why there was no jobs lay offs at the time of recession in INDIA ????...i think Indian economy is among few one which has shown positive growth even at the time recession...I think Singapore, japan, China and INDIA were few countries which sustained in hard time of the recession.
I think you people need to use your creative mind to build your own nation and not to make a anti-india articals (Ohh sorry you have pasted this from very old publication). Look at you country where the growth rate is going...look at the individual developement of the pakistani's.

DONT worry about what US citizens thinks about india,please think what this world thinks about Pakistan....We are very good in economy growth and hope that will remain as it is in near future...Because if US moves its business out of india in that case there would be a RECESSION PART NO-2 ....
