Anger erupts in Vietnam over Monsanto products, Agent Orange kill & infected millions of people

I don't know in what parallel world you are living in, but if you ndeed live in Germany, you would have known that GM food is verboten here and the absolute majority is against it. and believe me, the common German is much better informed about this than even many of your Vietnamese officials.

Yeah, it's big business, lets fall on our knees and and feel blessed.
ok, why not take a look at this figure: we import 5.27 million tons of corns in 2014, mostly for animal feed, paying with our tinny forex. most of the corns shipments come from the U.S., Argentina and Brazilian. very likely also gene-modified grain among them. so it is just an industrial logic, if we plant such corns at home. the approved GMO seeds promise more yields, are resistent to insects, pest, and herbicide.

You need to go ask @NiceGuy whether you try to beg for TPP or not. TPP is nothing without the US. It is the US who write rule and demand certain condition for participants.
Of course we beg for TPP when TPP bring a big benefit to VN . Poor CN begged for US-JP investment in 1979 but they had to pay a high price when losing TW-Senkaku plus 4 thousand pple die by dirty US-JP factories every day :pop:
Also of all the country, Vietnam is the one who wants the TPP the most. It is also the US to decide whether Vietnam will be in it or not. You agree on conditions like improve human rights for them to even consider you.

For military alliance leadership, you have been begging for US to lift lethal weapons sanction. Am I right? LOL
We must be in and get the second biggest benefit otherwise, the purpose to contain CN of TPP will not work :pop:

As my friend @NiceGuy will respond to you whether you want to be in TPP which everyone knows is the US's led and the top decision maker to make deal or not. It is depend on them. It was the US that had high demand on IP in biochemical and pharmaceutical that led to it being stall.

I gave you all that time and you still could not provide one single reliable source to back up your claim but can only tell me to ask NiceGuy? So are you going to believe your reliable NiceGuy when he said China is going to collapse soon? He also just said China begged the US and Japan in 1979, so I guess you believe that too? LOL.

You are a joke. Next time you want to make a claim, make sure you are ready to back it up with reliable sources instead of just using kiddies’ logic like “asking for a lift in US arms embargo = asking for US leadership in a military alliance”. You are a joke, I wasted my time.

OK I will believe you now because @Xunsi told me to listen to you.

Also CN will die out after the great flood.

After reading your prediction, I googled and found many bad news for China economy:

China’s woes run deeper than currency
Gabriel Wildau in Shanghai
The sudden fall in China’s currency last week spurred a lively debate about whether the move was a victory for market reform or a competitive devaluation designed to shore up flagging exports.

But even those who believe the 3 per cent drop was aimed at exporters acknowledge that a weaker renminbi by itself is radically insufficient to cope with the challenges facing China’s economy....

...China’s official unemployment rate is widely dismissed as unreliable, but an index of labour demand based on proprietary survey data from FT Confidential, a research service of the Financial Times, shows labour demand contracting in July for the first time since 2012. The index hit 49.3 last month, down from an average of 67.8 in the first six months. A reading below 50 indicates falling demand for workers...

...The wild card is deflation. Wholesale prices have fallen for 40 consecutive months, with the decline accelerating in July. Falling global commodity prices are largely to blame for Chinese deflation, but that is cold comfort for indebted companies whose nominal cash flows are in decline, even as the debt they owe remains fixed.

In an illustration deflation is undermining deleveraging efforts, China’s debt-to-GDP ratio has continued to rise this year, even as new borrowing fell 21 per cent in the first seven months from the year-earlier period. That is because disinflation has caused nominal GDP to slow even more sharply than outstanding debt.

Tao Wang, chief China economist at UBS, said: “Clearly, the overwhelming problem for China remains one of rising deflationary pressures.”

I should have listened to you a long time ago. Thanks to @Xunsi for recommending me to listen to you. :pop:

I’ve just found out that the CCP have also begged US to bring Monsanto to China after 1979. Now the Chinese citizens are not happy with the poisons Monsanto had brought to CN:

Chinese citizens sue government over transparency on Monsanto herbicide| Reuters

BEIJING (Reuters) - Three Chinese citizens are taking China's Ministry of Agriculture to court in a bid to make public a toxicology report supporting the approval of Monsanto's popular weedkiller, Roundup, 27 years ago.

The case, a rare example of a lawsuit by private citizens against the Chinese government, comes amid renewed attention on glyphosate, the key ingredient in Roundup, after a controversial report by a World Health Organization group last month found it to be "probably carcinogenic to humans" - a claim denied by Monsanto.
