ok, why not take a look at this figure: we import 5.27 million tons of corns in 2014, mostly for animal feed, paying with our tinny forex. most of the corns shipments come from the U.S., Argentina and Brazilian. very likely also gene-modified grain among them. so it is just an industrial logic, if we plant such corns at home. the approved GMO seeds promise more yields, are resistent to insects, pest, and herbicide.I don't know in what parallel world you are living in, but if you ndeed live in Germany, you would have known that GM food is verboten here and the absolute majority is against it. and believe me, the common German is much better informed about this than even many of your Vietnamese officials.
Yeah, it's big business, lets fall on our knees and and feel blessed.
