I don't think any Super Hornets have done any exercises with MiG-21s. But MiG-21s and F-7s should be no surprise. In 2009 that was observed between F-7PGs and F-22s. And for the last 10 years with Romanian MiG-21s against various USAF platforms.

I don't know, but a number of people brought up how the IAF got the best of the Hornet (at some exercise) & not to underestimate it (MiG-21).
