My dear fellow Pakistanis,

First of all let me say – and I think I speak for many Pakistani's. I saw a thread wherein I witnessed exchange of utterly disgusting and derogatory comments among fellow members of PDF. The conflict wasn't due on political difference, it wasn't Pakistan vs. India conflict - unfortunately, it was ethnic conflict in between posters of different ethnicity.

Let me say this first - there is no winner in this useless fight over ethnicity. There is hardly any state in the world, which is not ethnically plural. Pakistan is also no exception in this regard. Pakistan is a country with unique and beautiful ethnic diversity.

Throughout Pakistan different ethnic groups have their representation including Pakistan Army and politics. General Pervez Musharraf led Pakistan Army and country for many years and he was a Muhajir/Urdu speaking. If we look at political parties, then at some point in time, MQM represented Muhajir/Urdu speaking, however, latter Altaf Hussain was exposed as anti state violent mafia. When evidences of their ransom, kidnappings, murders and anti- Pakistan came to the fore, Muhajir/Urdu speaking were the first who dissociated themselves and later MQM leadership also disowned him. What Altaf did it wasnt Muhajir/Urdu speaking fault, therefore nobody should blame Muhajir/Urdu speaking people for his sin's and greed.

More to the point, looting and plundering of PML-N & PPP has been reveled over and over again (and still happening). There is a particular group which supports them, but can I say whole Punjab or Sindh support these crooks - absolutely no. Infact Sindh and many areas of Punjab have been brutally effected due to their corruption, which leads to inequality and grievances among people, because demands for better access to resources and power haven't been fulfilled after many, many decades.

Furthermore, PTM isnt true representation of our Pashtun brothers, yes, there might a group which supports them (for whatever reason's), however, patriotic Pashtun brothers can and will never support people like Manzoor Pashteen or Mohsin Dawar.

Pakistan is for all of us, there are Punjabi, Pashtun and Sindhis brothers settled in Karachi and living with full autonomy and harmony and same can be said for Muhajir, Pathan and Sindhis brothers living in Punjab, Sinth, KPK and other parts of the country.

Therefore, I urge my fellow countrymen and fellow PDF member to respect the sentiment of other posters, indulge in respectful conversation and refrain from ethnic tensions in the forum and biased, because it attracts many amateur and party based members.

Last but not the least, folks, please try to realize that violent ethnic conflict discussions, mudslinging and racist post at each other will only educate anti-Pakistani force. They can use it as a tool in the propaganda war to create divisiveness among us, therefore, please stop it for the sake of the country (try to look at a bigger picture) ! Because always remember, when we go abroad then we can recognized as Pakistani, not as Punjabi, Pashtun, Balochci, Muhajir or Sindhis.

Long live Pakistan,
Long live our Punjabi, Pashtun, Balochci, Muhajir and Sindhis brothers & sisters,
Pakistan Zindabad, Pakistan Paindabad.

Regards,
Del.

The problem is we have many sellouts indoctrinating our people with ethnic politics. We cannot crack down on such groups because then they'll paint us as a typical evil dictatorship. Parties like the PPP are examples of those who spread intolerance among ethnicity in exchange for political points.

I think Punjabhi is the only ethnicity in Pakistan that does not have a separatist group. All other ethnicities be it Sindhis, Balochs, Pushtuns, Urdu speakers etc all have their own groups.

I concur and thats why I mentioned that biased and ethnic tensions will only attracts amateur's and politically motivated members who try to shove their agenda on others throat.

However, there are only number of posters who indulge themselves in ethnic abuse during various discussion to prove their point.

And as for PPP and PML-N, I said it before, I will reiterate, there is a reason they didnt spend money on education - because, an educated person has the ability to think clearly and independently, so why on earth a literate person will listen to Billo's rant? They will refuse their "ethnic - Sindhi" card.

Mostly its PTI supporters fighting each other

Dont think you can call political parties separatist groups. PML-N and PPP have been anti-state at times, however, they haven't crossed the red line yet.

Altaf is not part of MQM Pakistan anymore, he has his own group - MQM London, which has been involved in spreading unrest in Pakistan - therefore, people who used to support him, hate him now.

Similarly, PTM is a similar group/mafia, which has political face like MQM used to have. However, their anti-state rant, activities and agenda isnt hidden anymore. This is why I said, our patriotic Pashtun brothers can and will never support cancer like Manzoor Pashteen or Mohsin Dawar.

Yes. I was alluding to these fringe groups like Sindudesh/MQM, BLA/BRA, TTP/PTM etc. and NOT political parties like PPP or PML-N or PTI.

The fact that there are no such fringe groups in Punjab demonstrates that Punjabhis are strong nationalists.

Painting us as a "typical evil dictatorship" is a small price to pay to secure the country. This is the sort of defensive BS thinking at GHQ and PMO that has screwed us over on multiple fronts till we eventually have to use force any way to quell such movements when they metastasize into violent ones.

At this poin the strategy is to let the parties expose themselves as terrorists and let them naturally become a joke like MQM. Nowdays people are always joking about altaf but before no one dared call him and the MQM out.

"Let things play out" was also the strategy in FATA --- we all know what happened there over the past decade. It also happened in Lal Masjid --- till finally there was no option but to storm a well-fortified position.

Proactive leadership means preemptive or, at the very least, timely action. We have suffered immensely by GHQ policies. Many have been good... many have been abysmal.

I can tell you with relative confidence that a vote in Punjab today would bring the N league back.

@Areesh

So can you help me understand what will happen if N league is back? How will it help?

Will they dictate GHQ to straight up their policies?

Or will they resolve Pakistan's economic or other critical issues?

Also, if N league can get back, then why wait for next election, why not topple Khan Govt through vote of confidence, (cuz their intend must be to help the country, right)?

Equal development in all cities/villages will end ALL fights.

Wanted to make my point as I agreed with you

Of course it won't help if N is back --- things will become worse!

My point was that IK needs to become a massively more effective leader ASAP. It is understandable that certain systemic change takes time --- but there is no excuse for appointing dumbasses and/or old faces in critical posts.

I understand your sentiments on recycling of "old faces" however, its given in the rotten parliamentary system of Pakistan, because you can play with only those who are part of your cabinet. Things become even worse because sitting Govt doesnt hold two-thirds majority vote. PTI's own members and its allies know this well enough, hence blackmail PM day in day out.

Now somebody might bring in the old and boring notion - Why Khan shook hands with ex- PML-N & PPP parliamentarian and accepted them in his party? Because it was imperative to win the election all thanks to parliamentary system of Pakistan, which has no room for clean and sharif people. We all saw when was the outcome on 2013 election when Khan has no electables on his side.
