expelled? why? am pretty sure the private college allowed bbc team temselves(for media exposure?), its not like bbc just sneaked inside campus.they are underfire after this interview, It is most likely that they will be expelled ( a ULAB student told me)
No you are wrong. Pakistanis don't actually like to watch Hindi channels and if they do the reason is entertainment. If Pakistan has a real cultural mix, it has with USA. And some arab culture has also tried to come in. Our people really like USA, they are inspired by it and like to watch their channels, programs.
The cartoon channels in Hindi are more of a headache for their poor dubbing and low class. Preferred to watch are the English channels instead.
USA can claim any cultural tentacles as it has proved to be a power in the world. People view the Indian society to be very lowly here in our part of the world.
Hindi has borrowed Urdu words and not the otherwise. Generally speaking people actually make fun of your lingua franca and the way that you speak. Urdu and other regional languages of our country are pretty sophisticated when it comes to linguistics.

because they interviewed in hindu other than English and bangla.expelled? why? am pretty sure the private college allowed bbc team temselves, its not like they just sneaked inside campus.
bcoz its bbc hindu? did not they know before giving permission?because they interviewed in hindu other than English and bangla.
Really pakistani don't like to watch hindi movies and channels... then why ban them, they should have died out automatically. No you are wrong. As it happens, both Urdu and Hindi are grammatically the same, an Indo-Aryan language, with different proportions of loan-words in each. The proportion of Turkish, Persian and Arabic is larger in Urdu, the proportion of Sanskrit words is larger in Hindi. There is no accepted canonical version of either language that can represent the standard that has to be followed; each speaker of Hindi or Urdu makes his or her own decisions on how far they want to include 'other' words.
it does not mean the interview should be in hindi (unless he is indian)bcoz its bbc hindu? did not they know before giving permission?
conservative? not at all.. unfortunately somebody just made it a big issue and authorities felt they need to take action... young bangladeshis speak smattering of hindi/urdu every once in a while to show they are hip..it does not mean the interview should be in hindi (unless he is indian)
It could have done in English.
We are very conservative.
you have many indian news channels where ppl report in English even though that is not English news channel.
It will backfire here.
You should continue being gyan baba and not abuse everyone.
Now depending on your reply I will decide whether to keep ignoring you or not.
What abuse?
You are abusing everyone. Surely those cuss words are not part of your harmless regular usage for you not to recall?
You are an elder so natural Indian tendency is to give you respect. When you abuse everyone (younger) and talk down to everyone, you are abusing that respect naturally given to any elder. Not just you.
I also notice that you tend to abuse Indians. With Pakistanis you are very careful not to cross that line. See how you speak to Delnavaz and how you speak to countless Indians here.
Should we take it and not retort??

Do please recall them.
If that is a hidden message to tolerate ignorance, cant and hypocrisy, you can consider it returned to sender.
I am particularly careful about how I address women. Particularly since one of them took a perfectly straightforward joke and made a huge song and dance about it.
Yes.
Almost always, it is well-deserved.
