Kalu Bhai, India's grand plan about BD is to exploit it to an extent that its inhabitants can never get out of its domineering grip to create their own destinies. With their "Bluff, damage and control" theory, BD has come into a being and it's an eternal market for their adulterated, rotten goods; so naturally opportunist Malauns don't want any ideological root to take place in BD as it's the premise/nucleus of self-determination. And Islam being a complete Ideology along with BD's 89% homogenous Muslims of total population are good-enough for probable nightmarish scenario for them to continue unabated exploitation. Thus dense infiltration and 24/7 propaganda have been up since 2001 to bluff naive masses against Islamic nationalist of BNP, to cause damage and control them.

They were hell bent on di-associating BNP walas from JI's influence to secularize its leadership and later to bring them in RAW's payroll. With the destruction of Tariq & damage of Zia's family, they had started the process, which continued with the trial of JI's leaders on fake war crimes up until today. The ruthlessness they had demonstrated since 28th. OCT, 2006's Lathi-Baita mayhem; made me to conclude that they wouldn't stop until Islamic-nationalism got rooted out. Installation of stooges within BNP along with defamation of Tariq went into full swing as well ever since FUA/MUA take over, so they had somehow succeeded but Khaleda Madam understood it to corner those stooges. Unfortunately though, she wasn't that powerful and time wasn't ripe enough for her to through'em out. But you would see RAWamys blowing stooge's impact out of proportion to confuse and deceive you as they failed to destroy BNP; on the contrary it rose from the ashes of 1/11, 2007.

Also BNP wasn't an ideological party to start with that inherited the support base from Muslim Leaguers and general masses but JI/SHIBIRIES involvement planted the seed of Islamic-nationalism in it. And Tariq played a big rule to do it, so he was specifically picked on in the beginning to be destroyed by Indian stooges, thanks.

During BNP rule, India-BD signed a bilateral trade and a potential to have a free trade agreement. The bi-lateral agreement increases our trade deficit with India even more and if a free trade agreement reaches then business in Bangladesh will be screwed. There is no way our businesses can compete with India as their bank interest rate is 8% and ours is 11-13%. India does want to take over Bangladesh, all it wants to do is block us using barbed wire from all the sides and dump their goods adding a 160 million population base, with their business having an easy ride in Bangladesh.

Chinese dont interfere because they don''t share borders. Ask the same question to Vietnam or Phillipines, they will say India doesn't interfere in their matters.

The correct comparison wuld be what would China do if Bangladesh bordered China and hosted anti-China militants with one political party supporting the militnts and one opposing it.
