The Inspector General of the Moroccan Armed Forces expressed his happiness at visiting the UAE, stressing the Kingdom's keenness to strengthen its brotherly relations with the brotherly Gulf country.

Al-Farouq praised the great role played by the UAE in supporting Arab causes and maintaining the security, stability and identity of the region.
During the same meeting, the Inspector General of the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces described the relations between the two countries as deep and rooted, praising the pioneering and honorable roles played by the UAE in the region and the region and its support and assistance to the Kingdom of Morocco in various fields.

General Belkheir also praised the UAE's urgent humanitarian initiatives and medical supplies to support the efforts of institutions in all countries in facing the repercussions of the "Corona" pandemic.

For his part, the UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs stressed the strength, depth and distinction of relations with the Kingdom of Morocco, which are based on the historical dimension, mutual brotherly interests, and military, economic and development partnerships, which serve the comprehensive development of the two countries, as well as their cooperation on issues of concern to the Arab region.

Al-Farouq moved to Abu Dhabi accompanied by a group of first-rank leaders in the Moroccan army. He also met with Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Bawardi, UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs, and Major General Saleh bin Mujran Al-Amiri, commander of joint operations at the Ministry of Defense. It was interesting to note that the official UAE news agency focused on that officials The two countries discussed "cooperation and joint coordination in the fields of military and defense affairs and ways to develop them."

This visit comes ahead of an upcoming visit by Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz to Rabat, during which he is expected to be received by the delegated minister in charge of the National Defense Administration in the formation of the new Moroccan government. Before the UAE and Israel, Morocco had opened the door to cooperation in the field of military industries to the United States of America. In October of last year, a meeting received Abdellatif Loudi, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister in charge of the National Defense Administration, and General Abdel Fattah Al Warraq, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces At that time, the US Secretary of State for Defense, Mark Esper, during which Lodiyi suggested to Esper "the promotion of joint projects to invest in Morocco in the defense industry sector in order to stimulate the transfer of technology and the gradual construction of the strategic independence of the Kingdom in this field."

Morocco had completed the legal ground for the establishment of military industries on the territory of the Kingdom, after the entry into force of Law No. 10.20 on defense and security equipment and ammunition following its publication in the Official Gazette last August, a law that encourages investment in this field, which will be under the eyes of the National Committee.
