I think pakistan and usa both have different interests. india can fulfill usa's need and pakistan can rely on china for weapon and other economic aspects.

US in not that important to Pakistan now. As long as China is considered enemy by US, Pakistan will remain important to US, though they will be like "I don't care" but they do and will too, they simply can't ignore Pakistan.


Don't see that coming, until US split apart like a carrom.

And West, they did't spare Vietnam and Korea, Afghanistan is a live example for you and still Pakistan and India are not an issue for west.

That's a theory of 80s and early 2000s but not of current age. Internalization of Afghan peace process is diluting Pakistan's influence. US used to see Pakistan in Pak-Ind context, then it was relegated to AF-Pak and now not even that.

I doubt that ... If thats the case then us would have cut all ties with Pakistan as we are ally if China ... Despite of all the efforts US could not get out of afghanistan ... While its bet on india has failed as india is too smart to engage troops ... Right now in afghanistan they are totally banking on us

Has US severed her ties with China herself, or Russia for being direct rival in ME? Or EU has cut ties with Russians for invading Ukraine. Or even Ukrain with Russia for effectively cutting a part off. Or Pakistan with India after all these hostilities between the two countries? World doesn't work of conspiracy theories and hallow beliefs.

US wouldn't get out of AF until ME is settled and ISIS/Asad is laid to rest. Afghanistan gives them a secure base to operate especially in the aftermath of restrictions on Turkish bases.
