American billionaire investor Ray Dalio lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi as "one of the best leaders in the world".

In an interview, the founder of American investment management firm Bridgewater Associates, Dalio held discussions with the PM about mediation, the world and India.

In a tweet, Dalio called "PM Modi is one of the best, if not the best, leaders in the world" and credited him with uniting the entire country.

"What I’m most impressed about with Modi is how he has brought the country together by helping the full range of people, from those who are in abject poverty to rich business leaders," Dalio tweeted.

Dalio also praised the government's efforts to construct 100 million toilets, thereby reducing diseases and saving thousands of lives.

"He is doing that by providing both basics and cutting edge digital technologies as part of his mission for India’s direction. For example, his government built more than 100 million toilets which reduced diseases potentially saving approximately 300,000 lives by some estimates," he said.

The American businessman said that PM Modi, with his massive mandate, has the potential to bring about revolutionary changes.

"Those are big deals that are hard to find in other countries," he said.

.
imagine a country leader sitting there in conference and talking about toilets , this should be internal matter of supa pawa
Imagine eradicating polio, massively decreasing infant diarrhea and encephalitis from a country with 1.3 Billion people. The issue was worse before 2014, now it's much much better, so yeah no shame in accepting a problem, first step in dealing with one is accepting it. Unlike someone who claims to be all well, yet does extremely poor in health and sanitation in South Asia. Despite all the bragging and trolling on PDF.
