In today's world perception determines the reality so media is more important than ever. If you wouldn't replace your military commanders with foreign agents, then you shouldn't replace your media bosses with foreign agents either.

More relevant than ever today. The Americans are cunning foxes. They cannot live with or without Pakistan and that has been the story from day one. It is a love hate relation, but more so a hate relation.
The Americans have lost the PR propaganda a long time ago. A few stooges here and there making noise in favor of the Americans amounts to a zilch.
No doubt that certain Pak media groups receive US funding to do their bidding. Won't have any impact. The people of Pakistan are smart enough to distinguish between paid stooges and authentic journalism. What the US is really worried about is Chinese clout in Pakistan. This is the reason why the Americans are suddenly working over hours and renewing their interest in Pakistan.
