I do agree with you that Israel's recent transfer of missile technology to China is a grave concern. One thing to understand that Israel and China are both military sales partners, considering that China is a major weapons buyer, including military communication satellites, laser technology and missile technology.

One has to understand the complex relationship between the United States and Israel. The reason why Israel is important to the US is because without the chain that the United States has on Israel, there is no reason why Israel would be so restrained in her forward military policies regarding her neighbors. As much as it pains the United States to see and hear of Israel selling technology to China and other clients, it is minor burden, so long as Israel still courts America's favor. Afterall, as an independent state, Israel is entitled to enact policies and pacts that benefits her strategic interests. From our observational perspective we see that Israel, tho part of the American alignment, is able to cooperate with major powers pragmatically with its own pseudo-independent policy.

The relationship between the US and Usrael is simple, without US weapons, technology and support, there is no Usrael, let alone restraining her moves against its neighbors.That is all comedy show; Usrael can not move without the approval of its master/dog at all.
First of all, the US won't allow transfer of its technologies to China without having much more advanced and different systems, and when it does allow it, it is to let its proxy ally make a buck and feel like a technology partner somehow. China buys the technologies it needs, compare to the latest in the US arsenal and re-engineer it to be in par with the US who thinks it can keep being technologically ahead, but gets some surprises from time to time.
