I thought the "free market" philosophy was very popular in America, how is it that they are leading in protectionism?

Good move. "Free market" market options should only be available countries that meet our standards on labor laws and environmental protection. It kinda defeats the purpose of these laws if we just allow countries not following them to dump their low cost products on us.
