Let me give you an extreme example, I could work at a minimum wage job, live my life relatively comfortably as well as get good service if I play my cards smart (don't have children at age of 12, don't use drug, etc) and eventually climb up the ladder. This is the beauty of the United States.

WTF? The only president without a party was Washington..and the guys right after him (who were ALL party members) were the ones who wrote the Constitution! James Madison #4 wrote most of it and he had a political party. If anybody knew the intent it was him.

It does, the president is suppose to be independent, no political party is originally suppose to back a president..
