Featured America Has Lost a Proxy War against Pakistan

Creating chaos in a nuclear armed religious country will surely create more headaches that it can ever resolve.

really?..

if they didnt want Pakistan to go into chaos then it would not have allowed Indian to used TTP and BLA against us. They wanted to destablise us to create basis of de nuking Pakistan.

there is much more but it is clear you dont have alot of knowledge in this area.

it would not have allowed Indian to used TTP and BLA against us.

And you think that India would not have done that anyway, permission or no permission? Just how naïve are you, really? India will do whatever it feels is necessary against its adversaries, whether USA supports it or not.

India doesnt move an inch with out US nod.

Me ?... no

You yes.
India will do whatever it feels is necessary against its adversaries, whether USA supports it or not.

Really?.

Who told you that?..

The CIA started dominating the Afghan policy in 2007-8. Listen the Gen Tariq interview.

Anyway, they started drone campaigns and killed whosoever favoured Pak, Naik Muhammad. CIA killed innocents, never fenced the border, allowed India to build TTP/BLA camps, even airlifted ISIS. Then US also let contractors come and create a mess. All to destabilise Pakistan. A weak adversary is controllable by arm twisting.

Afghan was a lost war after we got Osama
there was no reason for the US to stay after we killed Bin Laden

Yes i know.

Absolutely incorrect. India pursues its own policies, just like Pakistan does, each for its own national interests.

you really know nothing about indian mentality do you.

It is incorrect to judge any national "mentality" by one's own biases like you appear to be doing. Granted, India regards Pakistan as its adversary, and therefore will everything it can to harm it. But, then again, Pakistan is only too happy to return the favor.

All to destabilise Pakistan. A weak adversary is controllable by arm twisting.

If USA wanted to destabilize Pakistan, it is far more efficient to do so directly within Pakistan, and not across a heavily defended border far away from its major centers. Besides, Pakistan's main weakness is economic, and pressure here is very effective, as we can already see.

1. Perhaps they can, but I don't think it is easy. Anyway, I am unaware of US capabilities.
2. Yes, but that weakness is to remain modern and connected to the world. else, like Iran or N.K, Pak can remain alive and nuclear.

The bottom line remains that USA has no reason to destabilize Pakistan, and even if we were to assume it does, the obvious way would not be to create a mess in Afghanistan. On the contrary, both USA and China remain concerned with Pakistan's long-term stability due to its internal existential threats, and remain committed to help it ward off a chaotic collapse. No one gains by creating mayhem in a nuclear-armed country. No one at all. Please understand that clearly.

They are asking for sanctions on Pakistan from the looks of it

US failed because of Pakistan, its comparable to Iran (in its proxy network) or NK (belligerence)

We know both of these claims are simply untrue, but whatever the Bullies say goes in this world I guess

Time for an economic catastrophe, After the war bullies will be very angry...

There was a Marshall plan for Pakistan when Zardari and H.Haqqani were in power. The idea could be to make Pakistan militarily weak and then give money to political crooks for rolling back its nuclear program.

Things are not that simple. The Zaradri and co were so foolish to send ISI chief to India for interrogation.

The easiest way to make Pakistan militarily weak is by its economic foundations, not by supporting corrupt politicians. Anyway, the military was quick to neutralize the threats posed by politicians in short order, as always, a fact that is not lost on anyone. The Kerry-Lugar Bill, demonized as it was by the military, was actually designed to develop Pakistan's civil governance structures, which would have benefitted its people in the long run. Besides, the Americans would prefer to work with a known durable power entity within Pakistan that can deliver its end of any deals made, not by untrustworthy politicians. There is no need to rollback Pakistan's nuclear program, as it helps to maintain stability in a volatile region. There has been no major war in South Asia since Pakistan developed its nuclear deterrent, only skirmishes. Overall, that is a desirable result from an international point of view.
