The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP ) is the main terrorist network operating against the state of Pakistan and its people. Strong desire is present among the ruling circle both at federal level and those formed Government in KPK to talk to TTP for bringing peace in Pakistan.
Unfortunately, there appears no breakthrough in this wishful policy dialogue between Government and TTP. The primary hurdle is the pessimistic mind-set of the TTP, the group has reflected over years. Dialogue with the TTP remains non-productive or even none-starter, as the group challenges writ of the state. This is surprising that, in previous three agreements, the state gave some sort of recognition to the presence of TTP or this terrorists outfit (prior to 2007) and undergone a brief dialogue process. On its part, the terrorists group continuous challenging the state except for the duration of it ill – organized period.
MQM is not averse to holding any dialogue, with any terrorists and extremists group as such, MQM wants that the negotiations be opened with the Government and State to be in a strong and DICTATING position and not being weak and at the receiving end. The Terms and Conditions of the TALKS to be CLEARED from the PARLIAMENT OR POLITICAL PARTIES, STATE and the GOVERNMENT should be very CLEAR, as to
1) which GROUP OF TERRORIST are DIALOGUE worthy and
2) ready LAY ARMS
3)ACEPT THE CONSTITUTION OF PAKISTAN and
4) come in the MAIN STREAM OF THE COUNTRY.
Let us have a well-debated and practical counter-terrorism strategy at the state level to combat the TTP. Indecisiveness at state level would allow TTP and its affiliates more maneuvering space and enhance strength, may be difficult to be overpowered in the days to come.
Taliban will lay down weapons good joke Sir operation will fail against them Sir you can't beat them Mr they may cool down for six months than they would return back and hit back really hard only talks will get us out from this mess and sometimes this Altaf heeds to stick to one thing@mr42O in this very thread i can bet you for any amount that the negotiations will fail badly
all those who are going for negotiations are very confused and have no strategy to deal with talibans through negotiations
yes negotiations can happen but only if there are three conditions meet
1) talibans should unconditionally lay down their weapons
2) they should hand over the terrorists who killed people for justice
3) law of the land must be applied in FATA and anywhere else and not talibans
but one can easily see that those terms wont be meet, infact the govt will have to compromise on a lot to have the peace deal which in my opinion is very dangerous and will prove very destructive for pakistan
so for one moment lets just shed all our party affiliations and talk for the betterment of pakistan
negotiations are held with humans not animals, talibans and TTP are animals

@W.11 ....Hahaha....So your Virtual Leader has finally agreed to what Imran Khan is suggesting for quite sometime....COnfused Altaf hussain or confused you???
Its the same Altaf hussain who said that Taliban should be inducted in Pakistan mainstream politics.
only that fragment of talibans who didn't killed anybody
And belly dance from MQM continues as usual, these idiots can't take a firm stance. They approved peace talks with TTP in APC, but right after APC they started opposing it, and now against asking for peace talks..
And this is not the first time MQM is jumping around like a kangaroo on all sides, we've seen enough of this idiocy in past 5 years..
