An Islamic extremist leader in northeastern Nigeria says the bloody insurgency will continue because Allah says they must decapitate and mutilate.

In a video newly released Saturday, Abubakar Shekau claims responsibility for the Dec. 20 attack on a tank battalion barracks and says his men would have eaten their enemies, but Allah forbids cannibalism. Witnesses said insurgents put soldiers to flight and set the complex ablaze before they were driven off by a jetfighter.

Shekau warns Christians not to go to churches in this holy month, though Christmas passed in Nigeria with none of the feared terrorist attacks. Five churches were bombed Christmas Day 2011 and dozens of people died.

The extremist leader scoffs at bounties on his head — $7 million from the United States and $312,500 from Nigeria.

The reverse is happening though....beards are growing longer, veils are becoming bigger, hate and intolerence is spreading more - I mean who in the world kills doctors for administering polio drops?, schools are being pulled down, eating hearts of men killed, decapitations in the village square in front of women and children, playing football with severed heads, killing people for allegedly burning or reciting a book, killing people from other sects and religion, blowing up in crowded marketplaces, buses, trains and planes.....I can go on and on. There's something seriously wrong here and its a danger to every country and every human life.

Thats fine to pursue in tolerent countries and non muslim countries, the people who want to bring in some change are being hunted down in others.

One cannot imagine such barbarity increasing at this time and age of technology, when countries are vying for economic development and when a race to space or better living is on.

The liberals and moderates among Muslims are being called kafirs and fitna and what not and are being forced down.

Increasing countries are falling to these extremists...look at all the metal detectors, video cams, security checks at the airports.....forget airports - even schools, colleges, religious places, railway and bus stations and even hospitals have security checks, cams and detectors all over the world...why is that? because of tthese terrorists. These terrorist and extremists had their way in the past , they have crept in deep into muslim societies .. from last decade or so they are getting exposed in the muslim world as well thanks to modern era and the scientists / technology. Not false but its impossible to prove which religion is the most right one. I am Muslim, so I have to believe my religion is right, a Christian will say his religion is right. Same with Hindus. Thats why a country should be secular where everybody has freedom to practice his religion. God will decide who will be in heaven and who will be in hell. Just live in peace with each other on earth.

Islam, Christianity and Judaism are basically same religion (Abrahamic) and Hinduism,Buddhism, Jainism are same religion (Dharmic). Abrahamic God and Dharmic God may be the same God or different God. If there was only one religion the world would have been a heaven. I sometime think why are there too many religions. Why? I think we would never get the answer.
