Though below I see the Post Quick Reply and Go Advanced boxes.

Is it possible that in my profile I have may have by mistake removed the images?

I also cannot see the Bold/ Underline etc of this Quck Reply.

When I tried the screen shot to be sent, the writing of all these appear as below:

Doubt it, try hitting CTRL-F5, it'd refresh the internal cache (if you use Internet Explorer, SHIFT F5 for Firefox)

But the buttons are there? Like just their imagines cannot be seen?

Just to be one the safe side, goto USER CP and see if you have these options configured:

Show Signatures
Show Avatars
Show Images (including attached images and images in code)

Signatures option was just reconfigured, could've affected your account perhaps.

Press the Print Screen button on the keyboard and then open a graphics editor like photoshop or even Paint (Start-Programs-Accessories-Paint). Open a new file, and press the paste button (Ctrl-V), and voila, proper screenshot. Be sure to crop out any data you wouldn't everyone to see.
