Ali Zafar is working on a high budget Pakistani film these days
LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Music sensation and actor Ali Zafar has declined offers from at least three Bollywood movies in order to concentrate on his first Pakistani film.

According to details, Ali Zafar said he was offered three Bollywood films recently but he had to decline so that he can concentrate on his current commitment of working in a Pakistani film. Two of the films offered were romantic comedies that were to be shot in India.

Ali Zafar said all of his focus is on the Pakistani film that is a mega budget film and all preparations have been completed. He said the shooting will begin soon.

Good choice IMO. Bollywood is very competitive and his chances of making it big here are very slim. In Pakistan he is already an established brand.

Bollywood is not anymore about dance. There is some serious stuff being produced. Acting skills are a premium. All top heroines are not anymore glamorous. Vidyabalan, Kangana Ranut are known for acting. Fawad Khan is a good actor so is Mawra.

Bollywood is not about serious acting (most of the time) and I have never heard those names before and I can bet neither have most of bollywood viewers, you guys rely less on talent and more on nudity. Take Humaima Malik for an example, she gave a chilling serious performance in BOL and look what bollywood turned her into. That's my observation any way.

Depends on who's movie you sign up for.

You sign up for a movie with the Bhat's and you know it is going to be a B grade movie. Different houses cater to different types of movies. The problem is that the sex/nudity oriented Directors/Houses are more willing to try newcomers and so a lot of actors get breaks in Bollywood by them.

That said, Bollywood is now into different kinds of movies like never before.

Most heroines from Pakistanis come here with that mindset of Bollywood being about dancing and they fail. Veena Malik and Humaima Malick are examples. Still there is glamorous movies made, but there is also serious cinema made. Watch Kanagana Ranut's Queen
