I don't think he has an actual opponent, even if there is one, I think the opponent lacks the bal*s to come to the polling place.

Indeed, it's a very good question. History indicated that AL never cared for real mandate but always strived to come to power by winning election. Be it 1970 or 1996 or 2009; AL actually didn't come to power by popular vote but electioneering. So, it shows 'Chori Biddya Boro Biddya Jodi Na Pore Dhora' is ALer's way of coming to power but they like to legitimize it by election AKA deception and they also like Bangladeshi people to ride along as baits. I guess the motive behind is to show the world that AL is a democratic entity.
