:disagree:

Do you even know that PAF had no BVR capability back in 1999? Also, we wetre operating inside our territory and not in PAK airspace. Know the difference?

And really feel sad for the martyrs and their family members as like your govt. most Pakistanis don't even recognise their sacrifice  Don't know how many burials of PAK army jawans we had to do in unnamed graves.

@ tridibans it is indian occupied territory --- not "our territory".

it just shows how much damage pervez [mush] did to pakistan --every as a military leader he was disaster === he alerted inida to a vulnerable area which could have been exploited in a future conflict; I recall reading an article of hwo Gen ZIa reacted when the action was proposed to him --pervez also abandoned the fighter when the going got tough for him --first he should have done a proper appreciation of the situation including the air, naval, foreign office, finance ministry input and then he would have been told to stop the nonsense; then when it became clear that india was moving in 200,000 troops to face 2,000 pakistanis he should have pulled them out well in time....
this shows also a recurring blunder of pakistans "planners" [in reality self appointed generalissimos who were promoted out of turn and illegally by robber barons and colonial appointed feudal landlords masquerading as "politicians" (ayub and pervez)]..they forget that india considers occupied kashmir part of india and this an attack there is an attack on india proper==in their view...

@Oscar @WebMaster @nuclearpak @Aeronaut please close this thread before it gets out of hand.

Has been posted and discussed before.

I read this report with keen interest and I'm grateful to Saleem for creating this thread.
It is reinforced my earlier belief that the Indians are significantly handicapped by their leadership that no amount of sophisticated hardware, operational brilliance and courage can overcome.
