Aircraft carrier Liaoning vs Vikramaditya

Lol.. Clearly this Indian knows nothing about carrier ops. tractor is never suitable for carrier ops. Using tractor on carrier deck is clearly a joke and demonstrated the ignorance of the top level of IN. China maybe late but I bet its has more knowledge on operating a carrier than India. At least , china did not use farm land equipment for it carrier. Those tractor are big and tall, occupy precious carrier deck. Due to the tall height of the tractor, longer tow is needed. Therefore even complicating the whole carrier ops procedure and create potential hazard and danger on deck.

Indian are master? Master in farming on carrier deck?

You know nothing either,UK also used those kind of tractors in HMS Eagle a few decades ago. This is nothing new.

Funny how our "Armchair Aviator Chinese Admirals" are talking about tractors being used only for farming.
And they know even less about farming.LOLL

A tractor is a motive or a power device that is capable of pulling loads. On the farm, that load is a plough, a harvester, a thresher and so on. The tractor by itself can do no farming at all; just as a Horse or Mule cannot do any farming, they again just pull a plough on the farm.

Now since the tractor has a high power capability in a compact size they are used to tow/push-back aircraft on airfields and on carriers. Of course a Volvo or Mercedes-Benz truck can be also used instead of a HMT Zetor tractor to tow a fighter. That will look much fancier but will be uselessly stupid otherwise,

BTW tractors are also used to tow baggage trolley trains in airports. These clowns will again talk about farming on airport aprons.
Guess all this is not written in the syllabus for CCP school-children. ;)

We are not talking about comparing old tech. We are talking about the first place why a tractor exist onboard an carrier deck? This show something wrong with Indian navy doctrine. The so called years of experience operating an carrier is nothing but hot air. Tractor shall stay at farm land.

I think the indian members here, including very "senior" ones, desperately need a primer on basic Physics before they understand the problem of operating farm tractors on board an aircraft carrier.

there is blatantly obvious reason why india brags so much and yet so damn backward.

Look at their navy's operation shown by the pics will show you a clue and even the cheerleading indians are calling names all over the place without the tiniest hint of knowing what's wrong with them! What a pity!

better you stay in limit....

u are making feel scared too

Nothing happens if your people turn against us, you showed your animosity in 1971 war by letting pakistani war planes to refuel in your Island and suffered after that.

Choice is yours

partly you suffered that. your leader got hugged by a bomber... not to forget the past

When you declare you are neutral and then help one of the party involved in war, you become enemy of the other party. India after defeating Pakistan would have bombed you to dark ages for this move but we didn't. No one would have opposed it.

at that time maybe.. but in the present?

Who has so much big balls??? :azn:

why a douple post? :azn:

sorry,my mistake:unsure:

something like these
chetak_in480_l1_s.jpg

how does that do the job?

Why waste money, that thing is going to decommission in a few years.

at least to get tested?

that explains how far india advanced

.
Have a false flag then open a troll feast thread, good strategy.

If you know all about how India is not that advance then there is no need for you to need our capabilities.

Or Open a thread typing your real intention that India is far behind than your motherland or new master China.

Farming tractor for carrier deck ops? Show that you are the real ignorant armchair general. Twisting around the words will not devalue my point.

Firstly,it is not a Farming tractor. It is a varient of a highly popular farming tractor optimized for Carrier Deck operations, made by India's HMT. It was inducted to INS Viraat a long time back. India's several firms(eg Beml],later manufactured and offered different tow tractor designs for IN,but it was not considered as IN was ok with the current tractors and INS Viraat will be nearing its retirement soon.

it's more suitable for farms than for aircraft on aircraft carriers.

INS Viraat have only few Harriers to save the cost IN have deployed the low cost solution and it is an old carrier, and The Vikramaditya will have the latest tech, thanks for your concern.

Net problem. What you think???:azn:

think you are a lagging bug

Den give something technically sound. not simply troll answers.
