What's new

Airbus team coming, Rafale deal by March end, say sources

We already 4.5 gen fighter in our Inventory which Suitable to Meets our Demands

Operational demands to an extend, but the MKI doesn't offer us the industrial advantages and that's a key factor of the MMRCA tender.

MMrca Delivery Date are Far beyond Timelines which 2018-19 Buy then we have A squardons of LCA Mk1 And Lca mk2 will be in Prototype Phase Better if we Involve Saab in its Development .

Not really, since Rafales are already in production for delivery of a full squadron by the end of 2017 and EFs can be even procured in higher numbers earlier. Not to mention that the MK2 production timeline is far too optimistic with 2019, by the fact that we don't even have reached FOC of the MK1 or are anywhere close to have an MK2 prototype ready yet. LCA is what it is, a light fighter and nowhere comparable to MMRCAs or MKIs in operational terms.

Not Better Package than FGFA which is a Better Industrial Package compared to MMrca Plus its generation Ahead than Both EF & Rafale if your Not Fan-boy of Western Fetish.

Wrong again, FGFA's stealth design is a generation ahead, the radar and avionics are of the same generation, while the weapon pack of the MMRCA's is even better. But most importantly, that is a joint development and doesn't include offsets.
Hehe, is the Gripen not a western fighter?

FGFA is Ahead of both EF & Rafale in Radar System (N036 Byelka)& Engines(FGFA) and 101KS Atoll electro-optical system is Comparable in EW suite But How MMrca has better Weapon Package Than FGFA Explain this Part

No i was talking about their SAAb offer on Co-development of LCA

Of course they can. All these purchases will be spread out over a decade or more, by 2025 the IAF will have finished paying off the first 126 Rafales and anyway by 2020 India will be spending more than $100 BN a year on defence.

No Abingdonboy

Way too optimistic

2020 WITH A EXPECTED GDP of $3 trillon I see defense budget at $60 billion

So they all will have the same generation AESAs, engines and avionics, just with different performance, which conforms what I said, that the Pak Fa is only a generation ahead in terms of stealth.

The IR missiles are far better than the upgraded R73s, METEOR outclasses R77 until the ramjet varient might come. Similar advantages for AASM, Brimstone or Scalp / Storm Shadow (until Brahmos M might be developed).

Even if such a consultancy (not co-development) would be considered, it won't make the MK2 be available earlier, nor as capable as the MMRCAs and again, doesn't offer the offset and ToT advantages of the MMRCA.
