Air Travel Vouchers Worth One Billion Rupees Issued to Parliamentarians

Government of Pakistan has issued air travel vouchers worth one billion rupees to parliamentarians including 304 members of the national assembly and 100 senators.

Parliamentarians can travel for free on domestic flights and annually up to twenty Business Class return tickets can be issued to each parliamentarian.

The government has released funds to PIA for the vouchers and the airline has also begun issuing air tickets on the vouchers issued to the parliamentarians.

اسلام آباد: حکومت نے ارکان پارلیمنٹ کومراعات کی مد میں ایک ارب مالیت کے سفری واؤچرز جا ری کردیئے ہیں۔

ایکسپریس نیوزکے مطابق حکومت نے ارکان پارلیمنٹ کے لئے خزانے کے منہ کھول دیئے ہیں، ارکان پارلیمنٹ کو اندرون ملک مفت سفری سہولیات فراہم کی گئی ہیں اس ضمن میں ارکان پارلیمنٹ کومراعات کی مد میں ایک ارب مالیت کے سفری واؤچرز بھی جا ری کردیئے گئے ہیں، مجموعی طور پر 304 ارکان قومی اسمبلی اور100 سینیٹرز کو اندرون ملک مفت سفری سہولیات فراہم کی گئی ہیں، اور ارکان پارلیمنٹ کو سالانہ بزنس کلاس کے 20 ریٹرن ٹکٹ جا ری کیے جائیں گے ۔

ذرائع کے مطابق قومی اسمبلی ،سینیٹ سیکرٹریٹ کی جانب سے قومی ایئرلائن کو رقوم جا ری کردی گئی ہیں جب کہ پی آئی اے نے سفری واوچرز کی مد میں ٹکٹس کا اجرا بھی شروع کر دیا ہے۔

جن ارکان کو سفری سہولیات فراہم کردی گئی ہیں ان میں شہباز شریف، آصف زرداری، بلاول بھٹو، خورشید شاہ، سرداراخترمینگل، ایازصادق، احسن اقبال، رانا ثنا اللہ، خواجہ آصف، علی امین گنڈا پور، سید نوید قمر، عامر لیاقت، محمد عامرڈوگر، راجہ ریاض، فرخ حبیب، ریاض فتیانہ، صداقت عباسی، نورعالم خان، زرتاج گل اور شازیہ مری شامل ہیں۔

I don't buy this news. 1bn rupees is no small change and IK wouldn't allow this.

PTI is connected to it's voters so this will become an issue if true.
