He has about 500 hours in the F-16 back in the 1980s with No.11 and No.9 squadrons.

Did he fly Thunder as well?

No he cannot fly solo. He flew in the back seat of the F-16B from No.9 squadron (commanded by his son-in-law).

There are others....the air force just chooses to do not document them. A sing-along-song released every March 23rd and August 14th is more important.
