Aid agencies condemn Pakistan's plans to export wheat

Do you wanna say that 60% of pakistanis gonna export wheat and the money from wheat export will come into the pockets of 60% of these pakistanis.

I don't think so if it's like that plz explain???????????

In India govt. of private companies purchases wheat from farmers at Mandi (Wholesale market) and then its their wheat they can do it anything with it.

The private companies earn huge amount by selling the wheat to domestic of international firms.

So no big money goes into the pockets of farmer.

Now, what about pakistan's case??????????

if i can sell a good for 100 rupees, ill be more willing to share 60 rupees with the producer. but if i can sell it only for lets say 80 rupees, ill only be willing to share less than 60 rupees.

so ultimately money does go to the farmers. and in pakistan its not just the private companies who want export permission but also the farmers who are also pushing for this equally.

and as for what happened in 2007.... well government even exported its buffer stock leading to wheat shortage and therefore price hike at later stage. and this was a blunder for which we all paid.

and I think it was not just export of wheat... Some store keepers and flour mill owners didn't allow there wheat to come to open market so that they are able to sell that at high prices... So just because of a blunder occured in 2007 we should not stop a positive step towards exporting the wheat.
