What's new

After DDR4 graphics and everything will integrate

. .
Why will they integrate everything into one? There's less money to be made that way.

APUs are already present for low graphics requirements.

What do you think happens after DDR4 ? the DDR4 ram is so expensive , they are producing skylake mainboards with DDR3 , obviously either the DDR5 will never come out , or if it does something drastic will happen in the computer industry , If it doesn't then the DDR4 is the end of the line and so the skylake

DDR4 isn't expensive.

Amazon.in: Buy 8GB DDR4 Kingston HyperX Fury Black Series 2133 MHz DDR4 CL14 288 Pin-DIMM Memory - HX421C14FB/8 Online at Low Prices in India | Kingston Reviews & Ratings
Rs 3265 for a 8GB 2133MHz DDR4 stick.

Amazon.in: Buy Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 Memory Kit (CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10) Online at Low Prices in India | Corsair Reviews & Ratings
Rs 3114 for a 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 stick.

That's just a Rs 151 difference.

Simply No,
At Least not soon enough, requirement of CPU & GPU are different
CPUs need memory with Fast Response(latency) whereas GPUs need memory with higher bandwidth.

DDR4 is no way expensive(atleast in india DDR3 & DDR4 are almost same in price) but there is not much gaming difference in both.

into one thing , what do you think ?

Amazon is overpriced try Prime/MD computers etc.

After wide HBM 2 memory wide adoption, need fora a regular discrete graphic card is going to end up unneeded, exept the extremely hi end graphic cards, with a cost of say 250 euros and more. But this is still pretty far ahead, since, HBM 2 production is very expensive. The, the biggest issue with current iGPU is insufficient RAM bandwith

PCs of the future are going to be in a compact size box form, with integrated graphich, small size PSU, and spinning drive free. Intels tablet processors, and Core M series, offer deacent performance of theirs iGPUs, but Core M SoCs are very expensive

AMD A-Series Desktop APUs

Yes, I buy most of Computer components from them (Prime).
Never had any RMA related trouble with MD Comp. yet but PrimeABGB they will address your RMA albeit a bit slowly.
However PrimeABGB beats most of them for Price of item and shipping.

Awesome. I was thinking of picking up the Zotac GTX 970. The one on MD is cheaper by 1.8k compared to Amazon.

The main reason why graphics and processing will always be separate is because of the heat. Processor and graphics card simply cant exist on a single chip without a trade-off with performance.
secondly, Processor needs high frequency bus and memory while graphics core needs a lot of bandwidth. You can't have a high freq high bandwidth bus unless you push the price upwards.

Not low graphics, low power consumption.
Wouldn't you Agree?

I don't think power consumption is a big concern in developing countries.

There's a 250% difference in power consumption between Mumbai and New York.

Instead of Zotac go for ASUS Strix, they run much cooler than zotac.

I was thinking of multiple options. Buy the Zotac for now, sell it and replace it with the Pascal when that comes out. Or buy the Strix for now, overclock it to 1400MHz and SLI when it gets cheaper it for future compatibility, that will delay the Pascal purchase.

To tell you the truth, I have no idea which will be cheaper. I actually wouldn't mind getting the Zotac SLI if that's enough. But I don't wanna get stuck with something that gets bottlenecked by the 3.5GB RAM in the near future.

The Zotac Amp Extreme looks good too.

The HTC Vive needs much more than its recommended GTX 970 to maintain 90 FPS at 1200p after a few months.
