Afghans laud India's advanced healthcare facilities

The availability of advanced healthcare services at reasonable rates has made India a sought after medical hub for residents of several countries, including Afghans.

I dont how anyone finds Apollo reasonable in costs.

Its a rip off

The facilities are good but they charge a bomb

I keep saying this all the time. Whole of South Asia including Afghanistan is under Indian rule. Only Pakistan is there to oppose it. Everywhere from Mayanmar, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh etc are under India. We must be very alert. None of these nations can be trusted anymore,

Don't feel so insecure.........

Dude even Pakistanis come to India for treatment .
Don't politicise humanitarian things.

@jamahir
Of course at a cost. Why do think everything will be done free ?

And Pakistan has become a another state of China, where China and PAkistan share no culture or religious relationship.

You walk into any big hospital in Delhi be it Escorts, Apollo or Fortis and u see 100s of Afghans, Bangladeshis, Pakistanis and African patients and their families getting top notch treatment and it gives a proud feeling being an Indian that we are able to help them in 'real' terms....the fact that each visiting patient and his attendant acknowledges and admires.

Same here in the south In Chennai and Bangalore and Hyderabad. The major hospitals in Chennai are flooded with patients from the middle east and Africa.

He is false flag Chinese

@Cossack25A1 and @Zero_wing can confirm

I can't say about that if he is a false-flagger.

Anyways, if his message were true, we would not have any problems about shortage of medical personnel here in the Philippines, which we are currently having problems.

Besides it is usually the other way around - in hospitals of other countries, there is a chance that a Filipino of any medical profession would be working there.

India is placed among the top three medical tourism destinations in Asia after Thailand and Singapore, mainly due to the low cost of treatment, quality healthcare infrastructure and availability of highly-skilled doctors.

India is known mostly for its cost-effective medical treatments along with high standards in cardiology, orthopaedics, nephrology, oncology and neuro surgery.

Hopefully more AIIMS will help us further strengthen our position

Actually it's our Private multi-specialty medical institutes and Hospitals that are driving the medical tourism boom in India not Public medical institutes or Hospitals - A new set of luxury hospitals in India is redefining the segment with cinema halls, cafes, fancy waiting rooms and grand architecture. The price tag attached to these services also resemble what a five-star hotel would normally charge. Strange enough - these all happen to be the hospitals with Rolls Royce, cinema halls, cafes and fancy waiting rooms driving the Indian Medical Tourism Industry -

India’s luxury hospitals now offer cinemas, coffee shops—and Rolls-Royce rides - Quartz

And on the other hand this is our AIIMS - AIIMS has often been criticized for it's poor services and lack of proper managements - AIIMS In Need Of Immediate Treatment As Staff Crises, Poor Services Affect Patients

But of course all this couldn't be possible without AIIMS - thanks to it's medical graduates - one of the finest surgeons and doctors in the world!

why not?? every socialist society has free medical treatment... free with no hidden costs or oppressions.

Let's see where you admit your dying mother when the time comes. Turns out any hospital in Philippines
is run entirely by Indian doctors & is probably affiliated with our institutes.

have some shame... you wish his mother's death to score points for your ultra-nationalism??

did you know that aiims was foolishly responsible for helping modernize female infanticide in india via ultrasound machine distribution??

Those low-cost ultrasound machines were distributed with the purpose of reducing maternal and infant mortality rate especially in rural India and it helped doing the same - Infant mortality rate came down from 126 per 1,000 in 1990 to 53 per 1,000 in 2013 - Infant Mortality Rate down by 59% from 1990 to 2013 wherein Infant mortality was down by 30% in past decade only.

India progressed noticeably in curbing the maternal mortality rate (MMR) as well - 65 per cent drop reported since 1990 - India’s MMR, which was 560 in 1990, reduced to 178 in 2010-2012.

And abdominal ultrasound was never developed for sex determination in the first place - Even today it finds more applications in examining organs in the abdomen including the liver, gallbladder, spleen, pancreas, and kidneys than Prenatal sex discernment. Two sides of the same coin.

Indian surgeons saved my mother's life after 7 hours-long operation in 2011; she was previously operated 2 times in Pakistan (Peshawar & Karachi) both were unsuccessful and made her life not less than hell but Alhamdulilah she is now fine and she always prays for the good health of that Christian doctor.

sure, but general indian "jugaad" mentality adopted it for anti-female sex determination and the subsequent forced female foetus abortion.

from ( India's missing girls: fears grow over rising levels of foeticide | KumKum Dasgupta | Global development | The Guardian )...
In certain states – in direct contravention of the law – hoardings advise parents against having girls, warning: "Pay now, save later".

and yes, the vile passion for dogs in post-idiot-maneka-gandhi-india has led to another jugaad ( Maharashtra: Doctors in Beed feed aborted female foetuses to dogs : North, News - India Today ).

the ultrasound machines first spread in the 80's and no cultural control was made on their usage.
