Step1:
Afganistans mission is to create greater Afghanistan on pakistani territory to river Indus, to accomplish that its willing to do whatever it takes.

Step 2 for afghanis is, expanding from Indus river to Delhi an recreate Delhi sultanat as in Ghaznawi, Abdali and Babur's time.

Yep. Afghanistan has always been like this. The hatred for Pakistan is not something new whivhbis contrary to popular belief. Since Pakistan's inception, afghanistan has been against Pakistan. They voted no on our membership and in the 1960s they openly trued to create a pushtunistan movement in Pakistan ( which failed miserably) and even went on to invade bajuar but they failed bcz the local populace wouldn't have it ( which came as a shock to the afghans since they thought that the tribal regions and pashtuns were against Pakistan).

Now once again they are trying this rubbish and the funny part in all of this is that they are again brainwashing their people that the Pakistani pashtuns want freedom when nothing could be further than the truth. The pashtuns are loyal Pakistanis who have actively taken part in Pakistan politics, affairs, sports, economy as well as military.

However the afghan govt continously spews hatred and nonsense which creates further hatred in the public against Pakistan which leads to incidents like torkham and chaman.

I sometimes feel that Its used as a uniting factor. It's far easier to unite so many different enemies against one common enemy. Afghanistan is a nation strife with ethnic wars and it makes Pakistan bogey man to take peoples focus from the ethnic wars as well as the incompetence of the afghan govt.

The other funny thing is that 1/3rd of afghanistan is under the control of Taliban yet afghans fully want warring solutions to the abolishment of the Durand border.

Pakistan needs to seriously create better border management and defences along the Durand line bcz afghanistan is very aggressive and will seek a war with Pakistan if another nationalist like daoud Khan comes to power who started the invasion of bajuar in the 60s.

Irony or blindness is that in the 50s there was great talk and consensus in the union of pak and Afghan into a federated single nation but what the people didn't know is that afghanistan was never interested in a union of equal power but the subjugation of Pakistan under Kabul.

Ayub khan in the 60s seeing afghans imperialism closed the entire border of afghanistan with zero trade which created a huge economic issue in Afghanistan and allowed the soviet influence to multiply since they came to their aid.

These factors have created a bitter friction with the two nations since the birth of Pakistan and quite frankly we have and we may make great inroads of peace with India despite kashmir but we have never been able to create peace with afghanistan discounting the Taliban period.

However I will say that the Durand line is going nowhere. FATA is being made into kpk which means that state writ will increase further and with Baluchistan also looking towards development and border controls and management being a serious priority. With the advent of nuclear bombs in Pakistan and the attitude of the world on imperialistic conquests and Durand being recognized as the international border by every nation, its never going to happen.

We shouldn't be that sensitive....If Afghanistan on our west keep thinking about greater Afghanistan, let them do it. It makes them feel happy....A country who doesn't even control half of its country can't enlarge their borders...We all know it...

Lets ignore these idiots and focus on Kashmir....Afghan government and northern alliance have far more on their plate than poking Afghanistan......If Afghan does anything mischievous and come out in open to act against Pakistan....Pakistan should start supporting Afghan Taliban and all others fighting Afghan northern alliance thugs sitting in kabul.

We should make Afghanistan another Syria.....It has all prospects of becoming Syria...First seal your borders immediately to stop in flow of Afghans into our territory....Creating a buffer zone will b good too...

RAW and NDS are currently experiencing the result of plans put in place and being executed by Pakistan across it's northern border. Let me just say, NDS (and RAW) currently have much bigger fish to fry than concentrate on us. Let's see how many other areas fall out of their control in the coming weeks and months.

More Than 14 Years After U.S. Invasion, the
Taliban Control Large Parts of Afghanistan

By SARAH ALMUKHTAR and KAREN YOURISH UPDATED April 19, 2016

The Taliban have a significant footprint in Afghanistan, according to Bill Roggio, the editor of The Long War Journal, an online publication that is tracking Taliban control. Mr. Roggio has been able to confirm that about one-fifth of the country is controlled or contested by the Taliban, but he emphasized that this was a conservative estimate. “They probably either control or heavily influence about a half of the country,” he said.

According to Mr. Roggio, “contested” districts are those where the Afghan government controls the district center but the Taliban control large areas outside of the district center. “Control” means the Taliban are openly administering a district.

So Taliban indeed are Pakistan's proxy. Good to see Pakistanis admitting this openly.

Till about 1 year back.... Pakistanis claimed that they control Afghanistan like they would control their poodle... and now they claim Afghanistan is planing to break Pakistan... WTF guys.. get a grip.. decide your conspiracy theories...
